| Bennie’s bat out of Hull, breaking out of his body, and flying away – Report on 00:44 - Feb 23 with 3881 views | CLAREMAN1995 | Fantastic report as usual another huge swing in emotions in 7 days just like QPR I suppose. Loved injury time for once can only try and imagine if Burrell was there with all that space and suicide defending. Thank Christ Kone scored that beautiful goal he looked so frustrated after those 2 gilt edge chances. Nice Mick Dundee reference "thats not a knife thats a knife " just subsitute shot. I see something in Bennie since Coventry he could have scored 3 or 4 for us by now happy for the kid | | | |
| Bennie’s bat out of Hull, breaking out of his body, and flying away – Report on 04:08 - Feb 23 with 3704 views | Hooparoo | Agree Clive “Fck it. Why not?” Should be plastered on the walls of our dressing room. Have a crack and see where we end up. I’d rather see us lose a game trying to win it than bore the fans with 0-0 draws. At the end of the day if you win one and lose one you’re a point better off so Fck it. Why not? | |

With this report, you are really spoiling us, Ambassador ! Joe Walsh does sound remarkably like the son of Sean Dyche.
| Those possessed by devils, try and keep them under control a bit, can't you ?

| Bennie’s bat out of Hull, breaking out of his body, and flying away – Report on 07:40 - Feb 23 with 3269 views | londonscottish | I was out and about with family and trying to work out what was going on by looking at BBC Sport now and again. That told me that the Rangers XG was 0.1 in the 1st half (with no shots on target) and not much more at the 80th minute in the 2nd. I put my phone away and drove 30 mins home. I could barely believe the FT score when I read it. So much for XG :-) | |

But add another Mugged this game off... and watched it from the comfort of home... but was getting regular updates from family who went... which as now persuaded me to go to Southampton... if brains was dynamite and all that..... Being of a certain vintage I loved the reference and images drawn of all these IT bods in the backroom pouring over stats and reporting on why this happened and why this didn't God knows what they would have made of the Rodney Marsh goal against Birmingham when he took on the whole defence single handed... with his back to goal... or when Stan use to pontificate about what part of the net he wanted to nestle the ball into.... before deciding to perhaps go back and beat the defender again... just for giggles So pleased I was able to enjoy those players... and all the other mavericks we have had at this club... Great win.... great report to boot

I’d made my peace with this season, safe at the end of Feb, the suns got to come out at some point, two months bathing in the warmth of spring in SAR where the results don’t matter. Then comes Bennies shot. Lifted me off the sofa, frightened the life out my dozing wife, that’s what I want from football. I’d almost forgot. Oh, and Des’ moustache. 48 years since I left school and a reminder of punctuation I’d clean forgot about, thank you.

| Bennie’s bat out of Hull, breaking out of his body, and flying away – Report on 09:34 - Feb 23 with 2776 views | Hunterhoop | It was a performance and result which gave me renewed confidence that this team can and should finish top half, and that the play offs remain a possibility. Who knows what might have been possible without so many injuries. One minor criticism: Varane came on and, I think, he played every single pass backwards. It didn’t matter, given the goals and how open Hull were as they pushed for an equaliser. However, I’d really like him to embrace the “F*ck it. Why not?” mentality when it comes to playing a few progressive passes. I also thought Vale made a big difference. I still don’t think he’s a winger - he’s not quick enough - and he’s certainly not a right winger. But he is a good footballer. He has a bit of quality. If Madsen was to leave or become injured, I’d try him in that role. | | | |

Spot on with some of your comments such as Sinclair’s goal and Varane’s head LOL. Maybe if he had it on backwards as well it might result in a few more forward passes!

I'd like to know more about Bennie. I read somewhere he had 8 goals from 10 for the DS? He's also getting more and more game time. He reminds me of a young Tommy Smith.

Agree about Vale and about him replacing Madsen which, in my worst nightmare happens before the start of next season. Bit harsh on Varane though, he did play one long forward punt…. didn’t go 20 yards within a rangers player.

I mentioned this on another thread, Vale is the only one with the forward passing and intelligence to play that deeper playmaking role other than Madsen. Doesn't shirk a 50/50 either and is deceptively tall for a player of his profile.

That performance was a complete opposite of the stodgy away performance since Norwich in November. For a change QPR attacked the home team and hopefully will continue to play this way in the remaining fixtures. There isn’t much to lose by going out for 3 away points. As for Bennie , that was some way to silence his critics (me included). Maybe he can play as a second striker rather than out wide. That goal should have boosted his confidence.
| Bennie’s bat out of Hull, breaking out of his body, and flying away – Report on 12:26 - Feb 23 with 2143 views | daveB | I only saw the last half an hour live but watched the whole game yesterday, thought we were a lot more positive in the first half than we have been in recent weeks and were a big threat second half with the press from the front really causing them problems as it did in the home game. Been a tough few months with injuries but the team have done well to stay in contention | | | |

Bet you enjoyed writing that one. Some brilliant lol moments in there. I couldn't work out who our sub was until Varane's name was mentioned. I'd seen a few Bennie goals online and was shouting shoot at the stream, when he found himself in space. Great strike. A bit disappointed with Kolli's decision making when he passed to an obviously offside Kone. Brilliant finish from Kone, Burrell hasn't taken all his opportunities this season either and even Erling Harland misses chances! Good strikers keep their heads and know another will be along soon. Walsh improving all the time and learning to be game smart. Won't be rushed and can usually get good distance, as well as, reasonable accuracy when he has to use his left foot.
| Bennie’s bat out of Hull, breaking out of his body, and flying away – Report on 12:58 - Feb 23 with 2030 views | QPRcounsellor | Great report. Love the lead in with the "fck it, why not?". The same ground as the "so so happy" comment too. Great observation about Varane's head. The psychiatrist and philosopher Iain McGilchrist argues that the western world is being increasingly controlled by the left brain. The left hemisphere is detail oriented, obsessed with statistics and power, while the right has greater breadth, flexibility, humour and sees beauty. The right side should be in charge, but it's losing. It's why teachers spend more time ticking boxes than actually teaching, why people are choosing their partners using dating app algorithms rather than being out there and meeting in person. Your points about the way football has gone is another prime example! I'm sure if he was a football fan he'd be all over it. [Post edited 23 Feb 12:59]
