They just need to have the nose and the nouse to appoint the right football people and be present and invested in more than just banknotes. When did that last happen? Ooooooh... lemme see now..... 2010 when Amit took up the mantle with Ishkan and pushed Tango & Dwarf into the shadows; a fully respected football man took up the mantle, was backed and look what happened. Admittedly there was financial clout and the FFP rules weren't a thing but the other feat was they kept us up with ease when their was a regime change the season before. [Post edited 25 Feb 21:13]

It is amazing how our owners can chuck away 2 million every month and leave the club in the hands of a Gap Student who is making an almighty cock up of running our club each day. Only we could have a Gap Student and a Cycling coach being the Kingmakers in a Championship football team.

I'll give you Amit - but he was probably only in charge for a year, then Tone took over. It's been a gentle downhill glide ever since. Gregory was around for about 10 years, that makes a big difference. You need stability at the top to get anywhere, I'm afraid that the Hounslow Bus Stop Boys have shown us the way,

And even then we wanted him gone! Christ what we'd give to turn the clock back. We can also but speculate what might have been had David Bulstrode not died on the job, as it were! He seemed sensible, as did Amit. However, wasn't he the man who pushed for Gaz when we all knew he'd be a disaster. The list of crooks, clowns, and charlatans we've had is as embarrassing as it is the cloak of perpetual failing that surrounds us.

It is annoying that they're so rich that they can just write that much money off each month but take no interest in running things. Imagine paying £2m a month and having a new graduate and a cycling guy running your (non-bicycle) business.

QPR should adopt him as our patron saint, officialy. A few prayers for his intercession wouldn't go amiss right now.

Funny one, Richard Thompson, I always saw him as the architect of our downfall. I did business with the club in his era, I won’t go into the story again, but behind the scenes an absolute clown show. 5th in the Premier League when I’d had enough, club clearly heading for a major fall. Glad just to retain my love for the team. Gregory was the man, perfect for this club. When the cats away, the mice will play, none more so than at LR.

I know that we’ve had some clueless owners for a long time, but it could’ve been an awful lot worse when you look at some clubs now in non league,or even worse.
