Like others, basically impossible to name my favourite band or artist, but would have said Pixies at one point. This wouldn't be my favourite song or album of theirs, but given the sad passing of Steve Albini thought it should be something from this album
This is probably my favourite pixies song. It's absolutely perfect.
Unsurprisingly, that variance (between points won in the evening vs afternoon) was the highest in the division this season. Evenings here are defined as any KO after 5pm. Loftus Road is a different energy under the lights…#QPRpic.twitter.com/oioiU9mFcc
Could be a fair few more nights under the lights to come next season, given the funkier kick off times which we’ll need to get used to. Be interesting to see if this continues #QPRpic.twitter.com/2IWDTXfyM2
Can't call it at all. I was convinced we were down months ago, then convinced we were safe after Swansea. Looks like it could go to the final day, which will be horrendous 🤣
Yeah I spoke to someone recently who apparently had had drinks with Richard Lee the GK agent, who also said the rumours about Begovic high wages were not true
I was there when Captain Beefheart started up his first band. I told him, "Don't do it that way. You'll never make a dime." I was there. I was the first guy playing Daft Punk to the rock kids. I played it at CBGB's.
Think I've posted this before, but after we beat Wednesday for promotion out of Div 2 I went to watch The Rapture at The Octagon. I swear to god, when they came on the stage they tuned up playing pigbag, and it confused the shìt out of everyone around me when a drunk bloke kept shouting "hoops"
Depth of squad clearly an asset, but at this stage we need match winners, Fred starters with a renegade streak that can change a game. Spaceman to start it.
Enjoyed that Clive, you're always a good listen, and enjoyed listening to the host too. Quite enjoyable listening to two supporters with accents you wouldn't necessarily place with their respective clubs too!
Mick Beale chat was entertaining. Have to admit to being one of those who was embarrassingly taken in by the whole thing, told all my mates about the new messiah etc., to the extent they are rolling their eyes at my chat about the next new messiah now...
The attitude towards any person who has made mistakes in his work should be one of purr-suasion in order to help him change and start afresh and not one of exclusion, unless he is incorrigible, or has goalkeeper hands made of lettuce
