Possibly only missing 4 matches between now and the 21/11. Then there is a 3 game week!
Trying to be positive but more players out is hard to hear, again.
So we are down to one right back, two strikers, one of which couldnt get a start in the DS 2 weeks ago, two centre mids and two wingers? Realistic first team squad players?
Won that game in 3rd gear for most of it. Pity we couldnt keep a clean sheet and stay 4th. Hope Mbengue isnt serious. Fear the worst though. Down to two fullbacks now for Saturday. Think JCS might come in and Ronnie into the 6 role as well. So pleased for Lloyd to score at home. Works his nuts of for the team. Kone better tonight. Adamson again very solid and a great addition to this squad. Smyth very good again, very direct in carrtying the ball.
Great result and if we can get through Sat with a result and no more injuries it will be a good 3 game week.
I thought he might have given him the eyes and hit it near post instead of trying to curl it around the keeper. He did have Kamara on the overlap behind him and also Poku to his right catching up. Dont blame him for shooting as the Kamara run opened it up for him.
Its a very good article but, and I am no fan of his, the little section on why the Prem followed a global model echoed Blair policies is IMO not true. Blair came in in 97, a good 5 years after the Prem. The Prem had already started to sell its rights all over the world to the highest bidders, including domestically BKSYB. The central premise though that some of these investors/owners are becoming too big to fail or prosecute is spot on.
A deserved draw in the end with basically only 9 players for the last 10 mins able to run fully. First half we played well and even though the pen was a bit iffy shall we say, we deserved the lead. Kemper had Bowen in his pocket, Smyth causing havoc and the midfielf 3 bossing the game. Shame we couldnt hold on but what a double save at the end.
No chance. Of course I would absolutely love if we could, but by the end of the season he will be a 20 million pound keeper. I think the best we could hope for would be another years loan.
