Modibo Maiga. We had him on loan from Wham and he even scored on his Rangers debut.
Apparently, he played for us as many as eight times. I really didn't think he made more than a couple. |

It turns out that he's a first team coach at Ipswich Town  . They've started the season pretty well, they're in 10th, currently. |

One of my best mates, the person who first got me interested in QPR in fact, and with whom I have been to umpteen games, including Cheltenham away  , is also battling back from a stroke. I'm rooting for you. |

Why is a gibberish spouting, English QPR fan sat on a bloated, fibreglass sheep somewhere in the central Pyrenees? What's with the church in the background? There's some very odd symbolism at play here.

I just mean that in the original, the lyric is "Ca plane pour moi" and "Stephan" fits better, in my humble opinion, than "Julien" in place of "Ca plane".  |

In my humble opinion, that's *the* one but tweak it as follows, "Stephan" and "plane" - remember the French pronunciation of "plane" - is a better rhyme:

Haha, indeed.
On a side note, the site of that battle is well worth a visit. When I was there in 2018 there was a brand new visitor centre and very informative museum, all completely free. I felt moved standing on the hill above the plain and contemplating the fact that around 50,000 Romans were killed in Hannibal's pincer movement, in just one day. |
