I sat across the aisle from him on a flight to Teesside obviously a long time ago, I desperately tried not to look at him because all I wanted to do was fall about laughing,
He appeared not to notice , but on our descent he turned and looked at me and did that Cooper laugh. That was it, I just completely cracked up, as did everyone around me. |

I don't think Newcastle or man United fans have much to complain about, they're never going to suffer the humiliation of relegation with just 12 points and 25 defeats.
And inevitably, Sheffield Wednesday will rise again in the near future having got rid of Chansiri - there at least six bidders hoping to take them out of administration, luckily for them none of those bidders are Sport Republic. [Post edited 31 Jan 18:12]

I thought it was only me that thought it all started to go wrong when Danny Rohl left.
Hassenhutl had next to zero man management skills and if anyone thinks he was still a footballing masterclass, let's not forget the two 9-0 thrashings he hung round our necks for eternity. It was even a question on 'Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?' not so long ago - 'who is the only Premier League football club to suffer two 9-0 defeats in the same season?'
And the lady contestant knew the answer. |

They should get rid of the tw*t Spors, and let Tonda get on with it without any interference. He’s just brought in another German analysis freak ffs. It’s him that needs to be got rid of - he also brought in an assistant to Tonda (who has achieved just about feck all in the past) and another goalkeeper who looks as shaky as Stephens (pardon the pun). I’m sure Bazunu couldn’t wait to escape this shit show. |

And there is the point exactly. He was doing a great job with the under 21’s because he was mostly left alone to do it his way. He was allowed to do it his way for the first few games in charge of the first team too, with great results, then suddenly it all stopped. Nothing changes as suddenly as that for no reason - it has to be Spors /SR demanding that he went back to the playing out from the back Martin nonsense. It has to be that. Why? Who knows, but the only answer must be that they don’t want promotion for whatever reason…
If that’s the case they have been selling season tickets under false pretences. |
