The recent pitch invasions at Forest and Everton have brought up some discussions. The Billy Sharp incident was terrible and so was the goading of Vierra at Everton. But we are talking about 2 or 3 idiots out of thousands of fans who are just enjoying a passionate celebration. We did it when we got promoted and most of us were on the pitch.
The serious side, is that a player could get stabbed, seriously injured or worse. So what can be done? Not a chance of stopping 20 thousand fans running on, is there? You would have to line the pitch with thousands of security staff. Could the stewards do more? Vierra was literally walking alone across the pitch without any protection at all and had to defend himself from idiots. Should the ref indicate there is one minute left before the whistle so that coaching staff, managers and players can head as close to the tunnel as possible? You can't give life time bans to your whole fan base either. Difficult one, but you know something terrible will happen one day and then they will act when it's too late.

|Liverpool fans in home end|

Every season this happens when we play Liverpool. How do they get tickets ahead of the Saints fans (who are normally there instead for other games) or are they idiots who become Liverpool fans just for the one game when Liverpool are in town? There were pockets of them everywhere, 3 of them next to me, talked to a mate who said there were whole group of them next to him. Loads jumped up when they scored across the ground. People just seem completely crazed by them like some kind of cult.

The good news is that they have just had an exhausting Fa Cup final that went into extra time and penalties. Plus, Salah and VD are doubtful. If City win tomorrow, Liverpool can't win the league unless there is a miracle. They then have the champions league final coming up, so they may rest players, if the league is gone? Put all this together with Saints needing to show a reaction in front of the home fans for the last game of the season, are we heading for a shock win?

Leeds losing already. If Leeds lose, unless there is a massive, unrealistic swing in goal difference, Saints are safe.

They managed to buy this goal sensation for a cheaper price as he had a buy out clause. He averages more than a goal a game and he is only 21. They will be unstoppable next season.

Leeds drop into the bottom 3 as things stand. Plenty of twists and turns to come I'm sure.

Just watching the play off first leg. Nearly forty five thousand fans inside the ground. There will be forty thousand fans in the return leg. Not bad for league one.

Shame for the young lad if it's as serious as it sounded on the radio. He could be out for a whole year if he has damaged knee ligaments.

Anyone travelling to Brentford by train? On the 7th May, timetables are showing engineering works taking place from Waterloo to Brentford and Waterloo to Kew Bridge. These bus replacements are taking over an hour to get there according to timetable. The busses will also be heaving. There are a few underground stations about 20 minutes walk away. So in terms of getting advance tickets and train times, anyone going, how are you going to do it?

The same two teams in the Fa Cup final as the League Cup final. Exciting times. We would have gone out just like Palace have. It's the same teams yet again.

Currently 6 restricted view tickets left for Leeds. Better hurry if you want a ticket! 3000 Saints fans up at Leeds Saturday is a great effort. How are the Uglies getting there this Saturday, if you're going? Me and family on the coach for a 7:30 start 😤.
Looking forward to it though. Would be great to get a win up there in front of such a huge away following. What do we reckon? I have a feeling we will get back to winning ways. COYS

So he goes from being the next VD, to making various terrible errors, 2 errors leading to goals. Is he not as good as we all thought? Or has been joining his team mates at the cocktail bar on the beach?

What a player he is. Wasn't he bought for less than 10 million? That was one hell of a strike for a defender. Didn't realise how far out it was, until I saw it again.

Seems to be getting better and better with each game. He works hard and is developing into a decent player. I've noticed though that we don't have a song for him or rarely sing his name.
