I was looking through the advice thread for our NYC trip this week and as usual Ted had given his input. That was literally just a few weeks ago.
As I said in another thread, I met him a few times as the 'legendary Ted' at the Adelaide. I loved the blunt but not rude posts he often made. No time for fannying about, called a spade a spade.
Will be sorely missed and RIP Ted and thoughts and prayers with all your family |

Superb for HK and congrats
Shame about the morons out on the streets of London last night that delayed the event though. |

Got the last season to watch yet before I start the latest. We did enjoy the previous ones though so perhaps should watch this after our trip |

I panicked there John and thought you were gonna give spoilers. I have the last 2 episodes planned for our flight to NYC tomorrow
I have loved this season but do agree it has focused too much at times on the relationships. Kate's performance though is immense |

I said in the match thread, we needed to get behind him before the match kicked off.
As we often say, particularly for a striker, form is temporary, class is permanent.
One of my observations, and yes granted it was the start of the match, but he kept up with Smyth to score that first goal - Maybe not as fast as our other strikers but at least the is often an end product when he is there
I too, will jump on the 'Told you so bandwagon', as I have defended him throughout this barron spell - However, I am more delighted he has got off the mark in style now |

Sorry to go against the grain, but when I watched a slow mo of the replay on Sky this morning it appeared he didn't touch it. I wasn't at the game so perhaps my thoughts don't count so much but initially I thought he had saved it but replays confused me |

No Logman, I am with Streatham... We were not all saying that. Some of us said it was a bad day at the office and park it up and move on. And that is what the squad and manager did
Sadly, due to previous seasons, we see one result and think our season will implode - In fact one poster said on the match thread we were gonna lose 0-4 and start a long slide down the league - YES LB, I am looking at you |

Sure we can all agree, todays result dedicated to Ted and hopefully he didn't cheer too loudly in the hospice. A timely boost for you I hope |

Glad I nailed my colours to the mast early doors. In the minority that we would win today, but I think Swansea are on the way off their wave and back down the table.
Wish our fans were more positive and realised that the squad from top to bottom are solid and more together than previously. Yes we are missing key players but the ones that are still fit are no slouches
Kone & Smyth an awesome combo up front and really enjoyable to watch - And Kone constantly getting himself in a position to score. Hopefully this will really boost his confidence, because I really think he relies on confidence |

This was a performance for Mbengue that I expected last week to be honest.
JS set the team up to perfection and some of the link up play was the best I have seen outside of the PL especially in the 1st half.
It would be so nice if we could field the same side next weekend |

Is it me or Varane is having a really solid game today, probably the best I have seen him play in a while
I mean no one is playing badly but he is one of the standouts for me today |

Who the boo boys gonna go after now
Well done Richard Kone - He has been ridiculed on here and in the stands and has proven that form is temporary class is permanent - GET IN |

I dont think he is any better than what we have - Cover at best and not an area that needs a loan |

If Alfie is fit, then for me, we are at home - lets go 2 up top
We looked dangerous against Derby every time we pushed forward |

I'm tired of all these posts saying we're gonna lose, so I'm posting positive
I think we will win 2-1
I fully expect a response from last weekend because the players and JS know that was not good enough - Lets get behind the players we have, even ones out of form like Kone and Vale and enjoy the celebrations at the end |
