According to one of the Cardiff websites, the lad is on £7,000 per week, a figure Leeds should be easly able to beat. The size of the club, Thorp Arch training facilities, club's ambition, quality of squad all should convince the player there should only be one choice. A slight worry for Leeds would be his persistent hamstring injuries, but nothing a stringent medical can't find. He is quick, can score goals (the right age) and can play up front or out wide. Could be a decent addition. Anybody any idea what the fee is ? |

I say give the lad a chance. He fits our normal profile (no fee involved)and was/is a decent defender, good in the air and quick. All of a sudden we may be heading for a glut of centre halves : Naylor, Collins, Bromby, Bruce, Kisnorbo and possibly Davenport. A bit like buses really. Personally, I'd like to see another left back (allowing for Parker's injury record although he is a player I rate) challenging Bessone who I am not sure about. |
