Great to get 3 points today,
But I am still convinced that the failure in the January transfer window to strengthen our goalkeeper and striker options will cost us promotion.
Still not the end of the world if it happens,the ground improvements will make St. Marys more atmospheric and we would have had to spend a fortune to stay in the premiership.

Who played for Everton as league champions and went on to play for Saints 191 times?

On this day in 1966 he made his debut for Saints at 17.
He was the best forward I have ever seen play for Saints.
I remember him at The Dell taking the ball on the halfway line, and went round what looked like 6 Coventry players before scoring.
Played 46 times for England and scored 21 times.
His partnership with Keegan will in my mind never be beaten,it was magical.

Coventry missed a penalty,pulled a goal back and pushed us back in the second half.If it wasn't for poor Coventry finishing they may have got a draw.

Table I just looked at(TeamForm League Ranking) has The Turkish League 7th and the Championship 18th.
