If, as you claim, “we need them,” then why are so many entering the country illegally? If the need is genuine and the system is functioning, surely the legal migration routes should be sufficient. You can’t argue that we rely on migration while simultaneously defending the breakdown of border control.

The real issue isn’t immigration per se - it’s the scale, speed and lack of enforcement. When legal pathways are slow, inconsistent or poorly managed, and illegal entry appears consequence-free, it undermines public trust. People lose confidence not because they “hate migrants,” but because they see a system that looks chaotic and politically driven.

Governments have a duty to balance economic needs with social cohesion, infrastructure capacity and public safety. If they fail to do so transparently, voters are right to question whose interests are actually being served - the public’s, or political expediency.

On integration: it absolutely does go both ways. But integration only works when there is a clear expectation that newcomers adapt to the laws, values and civic norms of the country they choose to live in. A functioning society cannot sustain parallel communities operating under different standards. That’s not prejudice - that’s social reality.

This debate isn’t about shutting the door completely. It’s about control, pace and assimilation. A nation can welcome people and still insist on lawful entry, shared values and sustainable numbers. Without that balance, division grows - and that’s on policymakers, not ordinary citizens raising concerns.

The only person talking nonsense here is you. There is a significant surge in irregular migration across Europe right now, and pretending it isn’t happening doesn’t make it go away. Many migrants are moving through the continent with the UK in their sights drawn by the promise of free accommodation food and clothing.

Just because a few areas around Morriston haven’t yet felt the full impact of what’s unfolding across parts of the UK doesn’t mean they won’t. Other towns were once saying the same thing until local services, housing and policing were stretched to breaking point.

The current trajectory under Keir Starmer’s government is raising serious concerns about border control, resource allocation and public safety. If leadership continues to prioritise optics over enforcement, the consequences will accelerate.

People aren’t wrong to want safe communities, functioning public services and accountable politicians. The hope should be that decisive, lawful and effective policy changes are made quickly so towns like Morriston don’t face the same issues already evident elsewhere.

Elon Musk and Rupert Lowe to team up and prosecute people involved in the grooming gang scandal 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
After Rupert Lowe confirmed he was pushing for private prosecutions, Elon Musk replied with “I would like to help fund legal actions against corrupt officials who aided and abetted the rape of Britain!”
This is BRILLIANT news, between these two men, we might finally see people face real justice for the systematic failure of justice and subsequent cover up.

Absolutely spot on. You can find the same activists in every major city marching over Gaza, loud, organised, and relentless. But when it comes to the persecution of Kurds, the brutal repression of Iranians by the regime in Iran, or the mass killings of Christians in Nigeria, the streets are suddenly quiet.
It’s hard not to notice the selective outrage. If the principle is opposing genocide and human suffering, it shouldn’t depend on which conflict is trending or politically convenient. Human rights either matter consistently, or they’re just a slogan.

I haven’t told anyone to be careful who they vote for based on the flimsy claims of an unknown American commentator.
Do you really think immigration enforcement agencies would be operating at the current level if there weren’t millions of illegal border crossings over recent years?
The administration’s border officials wouldn’t be making those claims publicly unless there was at least some factual basis underpinning them.
As for the number of people who say they’ve left the US because Trump became president, I haven’t seen reliable data confirming how many actually followed through versus how many simply made statements online.

Rupert Lowe - if you want your country back to anything like it once was then here is the answer. This man will genuinely cut out all the stagnant corrupt rot that has been going on for many years. If you have any care in the world for the good people of Great Britain he must be backed.

All leading patriots need to come together find common ground and rally behind him. They need to give hope to the native brits and create a parliament of patriots with Rupert Lowe as the leader.

Rupert does everything for free and all for the freedom of the UK. It's not hard to stand out from the rest of the vipers in the parliamentary crowd - he's honest and doesn't toe the party line.

This man needs everybody's support!!

Just remember this is more than likely going to be the most important vote you've ever submitted. Get this one wrong and the whole country will be gone forever.

I think you'll find the majority of the country would support a team like Ice on the streets of Britain rounding up illegal immigrants and deporting them.

Not a tough choice really (unless you're a far left numpty)
A team like ice cleaning up the streets or
100's of illegal immigrants murdering, raping and stealing their way through the country.

There would only ever be one choice for those who want a free and safe country for women and children to go about their daily lives.

Anybody remember or was there at the FA cup game against the baggies in 87? One of the better atmosphere's at the vetch, think there was about 10k there. Looking good with 10 minutes to go and Dudley lewis scored that own goal to make it 2-2 with around 9 minutes to go. Talk on the NB immediately went to going up for the replay the following week (as was the case back then) until Mc Carthy came to the rescue in the final minute of the game sending the vetch into raptures!!

very eventful after the game too on the Kingsway outside mothercare !!

Banning Twitter
at 04:25 11 Jan 2026

No government has ever seriously tackled this issue - despite the fact we all know they can if they actually choose to. You can keep re-hashing the flimsy justification for banning X, but it completely dodges the real question.
Why haven’t the countless porn sites and other online platforms that actively host, promote, and profit from this kind of filth been properly dealt with over the years? They’ve operated openly, unchecked, and without consequence, while governments look the other way.
That tells you everything you need to know about where the real priorities lie.

Oh and lets not get started on the grooming gangs

This has nothing to do with what you’re claiming - it has everything to do with Stalinmer clinging to power at any cost.

Stop making excuses for what is, quite frankly, the worst and most widely despised excuse for a Prime Minister we’ve ever had the misfortune to witness. The majority of the public can see straight through it, no matter how much it’s dressed up or defended.

Sorry, Mr One, but this is clearly something we were always going to disagree on. Much of what you’ve laid out is exactly the narrative those driving this entire episode wanted repeated - and they succeeded, with many people echoing it without question.
What’s telling is that they’re already talking up the next crisis, insisting it’s just around the corner. Personally, I don’t think it will land the same way. If nothing else, Covid opened a lot of eyes and forced many people to start questioning motives, power, and who actually benefits when fear is weaponised.
That awakening may well be the one unintended consequence they didn’t account for during the test run.
