Was Vig really at fault for the goals scored against the Swans?

Yeah, I read the Matos interview and it did sound like Key's going to play. I don't think he'll start though. But having him play out in front of Lissah is not a bad option either.

I think both Just & Widell have had their opportunities in the middle and I'm not giving up on either. But... johnbrown, we need some offensive production from the midfield and those two aren't getting it done at the moment.

If you think Eom and Eustaquio might bump into each other there in the middle, then that's a fair statement. But Matos needs to start experimenting with other options, and I think those two might figure it out in how to play with each other, especially Eustaquio since he's more experienced in that regard.

Monga should play but should he start?

Maybe then start Stamenic, Eustaquio, and Fulton, although I love Franco's energy. And, maybe Vip and Ross up top. I'd like to see two forwards up on top with Eom as a #10.

I don't know. I think those 3 middies can offer the width/support for the fullbacks/back line. Swans need to try Eom in the middle because Widell and Just aren't up to speed yet. Having both Vip and Idah on at the same time with Eom as a #10 & more centrally located is what I want to see Matos try.

You can add Widell to the list as well, for me. He should be assisting and scoring more. Widell's stats: 0 goals, 2 assists this season; 0 goals, 1 assist in 38 appearances last season.

By the way, Just has 0 goals, 1 assist in eleven games and in his 1st season with Swans.

I agree with others who say that Eom should be starting.

My first comments about the WHam game as well. Really disappointed in the result. Ronald played very well and liked that Matos trusted him to play as Lissah's replacement. Stamenic and Fulton didn't play well; Welsh had a mediocre game. Big Ben should've scored...maybe twice! Vig kept us from losing by more than one goal.

If Swans play with the same amount of caution against QPR as they did againts WHam, then a DRAW is the probable outcome. I think Matos learned a lesson and will allow his team to play more openly. It's time for Swans to start raining crosses, decent crosses, into the box. Expect Eom to start. Lissah to start. Would love to see Matos start both Idah and Vip. QPR 1-2 Swans.

A game of chance, for fun

It's going to come down to our players vs. their players. Our manager's game plan vs. their manager's game plan. Do our players believe in themselves, believe that they're as good as or better than their players? I know our defense is better. If our midfield is playing to their true potential, our midfielders are better. I think we have more athleticism and depth (way more, imo) than WHam up top.

The big difference is that certain WHam players have more top level experience vs. ours. This will be a great game!

I don't know but I'm more in line with WR in that our squad depth is really superior to about all of the Championship clubs. Let's talk about this after we play West Ham, Middlesbrough, and Wolves. Our only loss is to Southampton who has higher odds than us to win the league. So, have we learned from that defeat? 94 points.

Here's what I stated on Sept 24, timestamped 23:45, on the thread, "Supercomputer Predictions":

I believe. I believe we have the talent both raw and experienced, excellent squad depth, a savvy manager, great fans, and the best owners. I'm predicting 28-10-8, 94 points. It will be a dogfight for the top two auto-qualifiers with WHam and Wolves with Swans being in the mix, maybe Middlesbrough but I think we have more depth than they do, maybe more depth than Wolves and WHam.

The Swans intend to impress at Millwall this evening. Plus Monga latest

I am being fair. Yes, he's only 17. I get that. But when you're not showing up on the manager's named team for an upcoming game, you probably start to question why you're not being named. You can start blaming others or your perception of circumstances of the situation, or you can look in the mirror and say I can do better.

Man City, despite all of their legal issues, are in 1st place in the PL. Where's he going to fit in to that team this season? He isn't and it's the reason City loaned him out. If he can't even make the bench on game day with the #1 team in the Championship, then what's City going to think? I'd be busting my butt trying to impress the coach! Apparently he's not doing that.

From the article: "This most certainly looks like a player expecting far more than he is getting at this moment in time set against a reasonable expectation by the Swans for him to integrate, turn up for training, agree to development, learn from model professionals like Josh Tymon and Jay Fulton and generally remain modest regards all the effort that is being put into his future by the Swans and his parent club."

Nearly 400+ views so far on this story. Surely I'm not the only one who's thinking that maybe, and a big Maybe, that Monga thinks his loan to a Championship club is beneath him? If this is the case, then even if his athleticism and football skills are beyond his years, his maturity and personal life's decision-making is quite lacking? Starting to remind me of another youngster who supposedly had all the talent in the world (or so he thought) but felt he was above being loaned to Swans.

Former Swans shine in Stoke's win at Bolton today: Galbraith with an assist for the 1st goal; Wilmot scores the 2nd goal. And, they won with 10 players after one player sent off in the 20th min with the score 0-0.

We need Socialist or even Communist economic policies
at 15:54 10 Oct 2026

What we need is a socialistic/communistic experiment to play out Trampie's call for action. Let's get the world to approve such a place for folks that have these beliefs to start this experiment on a lush, green island with enough electricity, farm land for crops and livestock, roads for transporting goods, and all the things needed for a society to be successful but led by a communist/socialist leader to implement "Socialist or even Communist economic policies". Let's see how long it is before either the island residents applaud and show their support, or they cry for help.

Wait a minute...this experiment has already occurred on a formerly lush island with all the trimmings called Cuba!

How's that experiment looking, Tramps!! What a bone-headed comment! Unfortunately, there are a lot of Trampies out there that continue to believe this BS! Fortunately, there are no success stories in the history of mankind that anyone can point to when it comes to Socialism/Communism.
