Liddell Joins as Fitness Coach Thursday, 18th Aug 2011 16:31 by TWTD.co.uk Former Wigan striker Andy Liddell has joined the Town staff as fitness coach, replacing Antonio Gomez, who left the club during pre-season to return to Spain. Liddell, 38, played under Blues boss Paul Jewell during his time as manager of the Latics. Leeds-born Liddell, a former Scotland U21 international, also played for Barnsley, Sheffield United, Bradford Park Avenue, Oldham and Rotherham and was a coach with the Millers until the summer.
