That was me last night when they equalized. Only ever time I’ve done that in 50 years support was the 6-0 defeat to Newcastle. Had just come to the end of Ellerslie Road when I heard the roar Reading about ‘Stairs’ and the ‘Roof coming off’ is not improving my mood

I heard loads left at half time in the famous 5-5 with Newcastle 40 years ago. This is before my time but I believe Rangers were 4 down. This must be the worse case of leaving early ever I imagine?

At two minutes 33 seconds into the video, fans start streaming out of the ground, only to miss out on the end of a 6-6 thriller .
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Talking of idiots, many of us in SAR were complaining when 6 minutes was added on, couldn't believe it was more than 4. Quite pleased now it wasn't just 5

My brother wanted to leave at HT that day but I persuaded him to stay thankfully.
He may have been reminded of that a few times since.

Left on 90 minutes when two down at home against Brentford a few years back. Was walking ain’t Blomfontein when I heard Pigbag strike up and a couple walked passed me saying ‘well that’s one at least!’ I looked at my phone to see who scored and couldn’t believe that was in fact the equaliser! I can only imagine that the guy in charge of pressing the Pigbag button couldn’t be arsèd after the first goal.

Totally get leaving when we’re 4-1 down as I did against Ipswich on about 88’ but how much time does someone save doing so on 94 rather than 97 when it’s 1-1? On my train from Shepherds Bush National rail it’s a saving of zero minutes. In the car it’s maybe 15 mins at a push. On the tube perhaps you get onto one tube earlier so maybe 5-10 mins. Just seems a bizarre trade-off to me to risk it.
If I'd left on 90 yesterday, I'd have been home before midnight instead of 00.45! It doesn't have the same effect at weekends though.
I'm rather pleased I was there when Morgan scored!

Only game I have left early was the 6-0 drubbing by Arsenal in the FA Cup. We should have gone 1 up with Crouch missing a chance, but after that is was painful to see the gap between the teams.
Me and my mate was thrown out of this game for goading the away fans We paid a tout £70 each as well
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

"My brother made us leave and miss an actual Matthew Brazier goal back in the day. Bah!"
Bradford? Around '98? Think Waddle was playing for them at the time.
That's about right. Brazier scored a volley right off a corner. As I saw on TV.
If you're reading this you also made me miss seeing Rage Against The Machine support Slayer.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Hey when I did a thread not so long ago, saying idiots that leave before full time, when many left with 25 minutes to go when Southampton went four one up, I got so much abuse from so many on here and not to call fellow fans idiots but suddenly its OK to do so now......
I had thought about not commenting on here again, as the abuse my way was pretty strong, putting it mildly.
But when people get called idiots when they missed something brilliant , there is nothing but sympathy.

You very much weren't alone. I was in the P block that night, celebrating hard and I turned to my left to capture more joy and the Q block was totally empty!

I was at that one with my brother who is, shockingly, a Chelsea fan. I wanted to leave at half time but he made me stay.
