Had a wobble when Widell wasn't on the team sheet. He needed to get use to the physicality of the Championship, now looks for me, one of the first names on the team sheet, initial preformance against Man City, quality ball into Vipotnik, and aren't the team stats for when he is in the starting eleven excellent?

Late knock for Widell, protecting Galbraith seems sensible since the loss of Inoussa.

To have all three out is annoying but Walta will be in training on Tuesday. That’s the plan.

Fitting all the pieces together is the problem, Sheehan had a load of newbies but also the high expectations upon him.
Matos has a team players who knows bit more now, slowly getting there. Fingers crossed

Ref already having a big influence on the game, that wasn’t a yellow for Burgess and two penalty shouts.

A few faces in the crowd today, I can see Gorringe and who I assume to be Adam Worth. Just can’t see the two younger lads who look like they are with them.

Stamenic dropping off his man, midfield not working right. Too much space

It’s noticeable. Plus Ward needs to get in much closer on their right side attacking player.

Left !

Not playing well, lucky to be 0-0. ref's a homer, sort of game where I'd say the away team will be better on the second half.

Messy first half, we had a chance, as you would expect Vipotnik shoots but maybe should have been laid to Eom as the space opened up for him.
Fulton on the left of central midfield Stamenic on the right hence the number of attacks against on the right. One point Fulton urging Stamenic to lose the player on the ball quicker. If Stamenic is better placed the ball doesn't get played to the free player.
Will be interesting how long Ward stays in or does he getthefull game and Galbraith comes on in the midfield?

There’s a clear issue from the first half and that’s the extremely low successful passing stats. Very poor.

Not to mention Franco pushed into touch and no free kick😳.

Ward is not up to this league (yet). He and Cabango got in each other’s way and he’s getting beaten easily on their left.

Vipotnik needs to find his shooting boots fast but given the disconnect between a midfield lacking any creativity and him, he’s not going to get many chances today.

Also, the game looks like a Benny Hill sketch with players bunching together and running around leaving acres of space elsewhere.

I’d still take that draw!

Restricting them to shots from the edge of the box at the moment

Classic near post header from a corner kick.

That near post header from Vipi is starting to work quite well as a tactic.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

You would have thought Watford had done a little bit of homework on that set play

Franco penalised for body check into touch where as Watford weren't for the same on Franco in first half?

The Watford commentary team attributed no blame to Cullen but were scathing of Irankunda.
