Centre backs in the playoffs 17:48 - Aug 1 with 912 viewsTeddRanger

I see we’re linked with Rob Dickie of Oxford and Charlie Goode of Northampton.
Having watched the playoffs, both these centre backs impressed me.

Are they long term targets of ours I wonder, or post Grant Hall, are we after anyone that’s looked good on the telly?

5 years ago I would have said yes but I have a lot more faith in our scouring these days than back then. They will have done more research than just watching telly

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

How attractive are a team who finish mid to lower table every year? That's my concern now.

Poll: The election - who are you voting for?

If you’re a young lad making his way in the industry a la BOS and Eze, very I’d say.

I suspect it been no Goode for us and we shall have to settle for taking the Dickie I am afraid.

But these lads seem to have other championship clubs also looking at them.

I love the fact we're looking at these type of players though

If the player is interested in his development rather than money, we have to be a very attractive option. We have proven with a bunch of players over the last couple of years that we can develop their skills if they come here. Manning, Freeman, Eze, BOS, Chair, Masterson, Hall to name just a few
