It's not religion, it's not flags, it's us, humans.
I buy into the myth-making theory - the reason we can exist together in much larger groups then our cousins/whatever (Chimpanzee's, neanderthals etc) is because we are able to create collective fictions to unite behind (because we have language).
Unfortunately, different groups of us have created different myths to support......
It was always going to be something.
What enable's us, also destroys us.
