Of course, I wasn't suggesting that, but the more exposure he gets the more likely it is that Charlton will want to test him at a higher level sooner rather than later. Also I'm not sure Charlton will be loaning him to a club in the same division as them. |  |

If he is recalled in January I think he can only play for Charlton because he can't play for three different teams in one season, and he played for Charlton in the EFL Trophy. |  |

Obviously we won’t be signing him, about us likely as us signing McDonnell last season (zero). No really good reason for Charlton to recall him in January though, that wouldn’t achieve anything. Better to see this loan out and see where they can place him next season. |  |
