I wouldn’t have said we have had 3 years of good recruitment.
Recruited well under the year we won the players, albeit we paid the price for having too many loan players. Recruited poorly the season we managed to just beat derby’s 11 points, recruitment last year was good though. [Post edited 12 Jun 18:06]

THB needs another go in the Prem with a decent mid table side. Had the spy nonsense not happened he could have had his third promotion. He needs to take the next step not wait another year in the Championship with us. I wonder if Kayi-Sanda is ready for the step up with Stephens, Quarshie and Wood.
Charles only has one year left on his contract I believe and has the class if not the concentration and toughness currently to make a move to a good Prem league side where he can continue his development.
If Jander can get over his suggested homesickness he should stay with us . Best for both parties.
Similarly Scienza. I'm still not sure he is Premier League and will continue to be a star for us. His age is against a big money move and he's on a long contract with us.

Our recruitment was crap 2 seasons ago. The club was Ill equipped for the demands of the premiership. That is indisputable!
Edit as I thought classic Nick bait. We actually signed 25 players that season and just 2 were premier class. How’s that good recruitment?? [Post edited 13 Jun 23:02]

The only one I would prefer not to lose is THB.
There is no doubt that he improved - and benefitted the team markedly - last season massively and would be a big loss.
My one crumb of hope was that I recall in an interview earlier this year he said that TE had been a big influence on him and had made him a much better player. The thought of being captain plus now married life just might persuade him not to move on just yet… | | | |

I might have missed other gossip but the only Clubs I've seen showing interest in THB at this early stage were Burnley, West Ham and Palace...his agent better upgrade that somewhat shabby bunch prior to deadline. ( I'm sure they will) | | | |
