Taking into account minutes played, who’s been rested and quality of oppo I’d go:

Charles
Lamptey, Dunne, JCS, Cirkin
Madsen, Edwards
Smyth, Chair, Poku
Kone

Ward, Kamara, Alfie, Saito, Vale, Adamson, Mbengue, Obikwu, Varane

Resting Burrell – given his injuries last season – and the temptation to bring him on if he’s on the bench – give him Saturday off to recharge and bring on Alfie/Obikwu.

If we’re going to do anything this season we can’t just rely on Burrell, time for Kone to start firing.

Poku and Smyth pushing on for a fluid 4 5 1 to 4 3 3.

Adamson has been the biggest surprise of this season for me. I thought he was dreadful and didn’t have a hope of making it in this team but he’s been a bit of a revelation and has looked assured defensively and going forward.

Anyway, there’s a lot of changes in this line up from Wednesday, maybe too many. Burrell to come on and score after Kone has softened them up.
