Southampton: Mauricio Pochettino researching team for weeks
New Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino says he has been researching the team for weeks.
The 40-year-old was brought in to replace Nigel Adkins on Friday in a surprise move by the Saints.
Speaking through an interpreter, Pochettino said: "I know about the squad because I've been researching them for several weeks."

Maybe he is 'meticulously prepared' - we all know how well that ends. I think all the clubs near the bottom are more terrified than usual of relegation because of the big jump in cash next season. Hats off to Reading (so far) for sticking with McDermott. |  |
