Release this afternoon from ECB ACO - recreational cricket suspended until further notice.
"Regrettably, we will not be starting the NCA season as planned. As a consequence the Captains & Umpires’ Meeting is also postponed. If the situation changes the Management Committee will look to salvage whatever we can but, for the time being the NCA League season is suspended until further notice".
QPR still have a ten per cent sell on fee arrangement with Liverpool on Raheem Sterling, who is now in prime condition and position for another massive move, if he wants to keep playing European Football now that Citeh have a 2 year ban from Europe.
I reckon that should be £13 million coming our way as long as the lawyers don't screw things up - and get a reduction in the Citeh Brexit ban.
What's the odds of that happening?
With our luck? No chance. If we did get lucky, we'd probably spaff it on some aging star with dodgy knees, a drink problem, with links to a betting company.
Harry Redknapp Former manager at various clubs (who all hate the lying long nosed wheeler /dealer)
John Bailey: Do agents have more power than a manager today?
They certainly do have an awful lot of power yeah. Years ago, the player would come and see you if you left him out the team. Nowadays players go to their agents, who ring the chairman, to tell them: “The manager is an idiot, why's he not picking my player?!” They build relationships with chairmen, as they know managers are only passing through.
Ben: How much paperwork actually needs to be completed to get a deal over the line? Do clubs still use fax machines?!
I think so, I don’t know, I’m useless at that type of stuff. You’re relying on a good secretary. I mean secretaries are going off their head on deadline day. I don’t know how much paperwork is needed these days?!
Translation for normal people. - "I'm useless at that type of stuff" Too right, useless at adding up, spelling properly, keeping my fingers out of the till, opening bank accounts for my dog, telling the truth and paying taxes.
This is a cut and past off Wikipedia on Mark Hughes "career"
In the summer of 2012, QPR brought a large number of high-profile signings with the intent of establishing themselves as a Premier League club. In came Kieron Dyer, Ryan Nelsen, Andrew Johnson, Robert Green, Samba Diakité, Fábio, Park Ji-sung and Junior Hoilett all before the start of the season. Rangers' new-look squad, however, got off to an awful start as they crashed to a 5–0 home defeat against Swansea on the opening day of the 2012–13 Premier League season. Hughes branded his players performance as "embarrassing". Hughes then signed José Bosingwa, Júlio César and Esteban Granero but saw no improvement in results, going 12 matches without victory. He was sacked as manager on 23 November 2012 after the team suffered a 3–1 home defeat to Southampton six days earlier and replaced by Harry Redknapp.

Shame that the first person to pass this to me - and then onto LFW is an Arse fan / Waitrose shopper / Brompton biker - however he could be an honorary QPR fan because of the way he agrees with us that football is being run - into the cess pit.
