I popped into the Crown & Sceptre for a few pints of London Pride and bumped into ol' Noel Coward.

It must have been quite a few pints.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Nice one, mate. Fantastic - The London of my Nan and Grandad; from Mornington Crescent to Balcombe Street in Marylebone and then on to Northolt. The Balcombe street siege in 1975 was the actual block where my Grandparents and their kids, one being my Mum, used to live.

That really took me back.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Unusual thing about Balcombe St (apart from the bullet holes), was you could own - live in a ‘suite of rooms’. Those buildings first floors had lovely big apartments, but the main hallway leading to the stairs separated your living space. I mean, kitchen and living room on one side of the hall, and your bedroom(s), on the other.

Poll: Thank God The Seaons Over.
