Who drives on the M25?
at 21:18 4 Apr 2019
Anyone had a speeding ticket?
l'm having to do a regular journey from the A1 to A12 and back, a stretch entirely covered by average speed cams. Almost every journey several vehicles come past at 80+ and every few journeys there'll be someone right up my ar$e flashing while I'm gently cruising at 74ish past vehicles doing 70.
Maybe the odd one's a joyrider, otherwise I'm scratching my head. Is the speed threshold on the cameras set high or are people just being stupid?

Anyone see this current tour? Absolutely outstanding - never seen a live music performance so creatively conceived and executed.
Four fellas going through the motions with the standard stage set-up will never seem the same again.

Hails of abuse for tinkering crimes relating to the Preston and Brentford games. But not a whisper for the Birmingham game.
Is tinkering approved now? Or maybe it's just a bit easier to beat Birmingham.
Players who lasted a long time at QPR who you don't remember fondly

with acknowledgements to PP for the inspiration!
Dominic Shimmin and Matthew Hislop, by god what a farce that pair were. People kept on touting them as the next great thing despite the absence of any supporting evidence. Net result, four appearances between them over three years.
Shimmin eventually played 38 games for Morton in two years (a career highlight) while Hislop never made another professional appearance after his solitary outing for QPR in which he went off injured.
A huge cataclysmic night of football in the Championship

Full programme tonight, every team in action.
The seismic change that resulted was Brentford moving one place above Cardiff and QPR moving up two places above Villa and Ipswich. Everyone else, as you were.
The late match thread

Enthusiasm for early match threads seems to have waned somewhat.
No predictions from me, anything can happen with Holloway's QPR. Could be 5-0 either way. Or 0-0.
I'll be out all day so behave yourselves.
Karl Henry zero minutes

Last two games. Also zero goals and zero points.
You bastards said it would fix things if he didn't play.
The QPR comedy XI

Inspired by Polter.
Criteria: On pitch comedy value, good or bad. Definite facepalm moments. Not just shite, that isn't funny. I'll start with...

Negatives from today
at 18:48 7 Aug 2016
Gladwin has emerged as an early frontrunner for scapegoat of the season, but with the departure of Phillips, Hoilett and Green among others I feel we're still very short in this area and indeed as we saw today, with Green have gifted a talented scapegoat to a competitor.
Luongo and Henry were both very disappointing in not giving us material to work with in this area and the new boys also failed to produce anything that could have warranted kneejerk pitchside abuse.
The manager gave cause for frustration too, as the players looked fully fit, and the passing, possession and style of play competent. The right substitution was made at the right time, too, meaning that we'll need to work harder to identify negatives in the next game and wait a little longer before giving him a derogatory nickname.
All in all a bad day for negatives but there are 45 games to go and I'm confident we can turn this around.
