I argued yesterday that I thought Clattenburg could have shown some balls and used his discretion. I'm still not sticking up for Cisse but the whole situation taken into context... 2 yellows in sat was fine??? Everybody slaughtered me and said if you raise your hands, you have to go!

Bale's attitude after he dived loses him any credibility when he does get hurt. Young players watching that will copy it - Bale should be ashamed of himself and someone who could and should be role model for kids coming into the game devalues any good work he does. I don't expect he will admit it, but it was very clearly a dive followed by the actions only legitimately carried out by somebody who was almost crippled.
Cisse was badly tackled and probably is sensitive to it after suffering two leg breaks, but was still stupid. However, Suarez deliberately kicking Scott Parker was much worse and went unpunished. |  |
