Every time Tomori plays outside of Italy he looks awful. Gets roasted in Champions League and has looked shaky for England. MIlan are a big name, but that doesn't mean he's a good player. Everyone calls for a Maguire replacement but the only one who's come close to usurping him is Guehi and he's injured right now |

There's a reason DHGate was trending on twitter yesterday. |

It's Gary Rowett, not the love child of Guardiola and Klopp. He will play organised long ball football, it's nothing special and we should have enough to beat them next week |

Even though we lost 6-1 it was still our most successful week of that year to date as we'd won on the Saturday and had managed to obtain 3 points in a week for the first time in 2023 |

Are we buying up the surrounding flats to dig down? |

Some of these teams may have had their peak. Huddersfield in average form and who knows, maybe they don't get it back. Blackburn are in awful form and have to play all of the top 4 still. Potentially one to watch as they look a lot like we did last season, but with a far harder run in. Plymouth also on a downward trajectory. If you were a neutral you'd probably say QPR will squeak it and so will Sheff Weds, whilst two of Brum, Blackburn and Plymouth will go. However we know that's not how football works |

Really frustrating as a win today and we were getting close to being out of it. But in reality we were off it. A bright start and then Howson took over the middle and we were just to slow. Clarke at the back for them monstered us and we got nothing from him (he assisted their first as well). They defended very well (the block on Smyth when he went through was excellent) and we were sloppy at times. Need to move on though and fast. Most here likely would've predicted 4 points from Leicester, WBA and Boro so we are probably at about par. We have 4 games coming up where there should be points on offer Sunderland a Birmingham h Swansea a Sheff Weds h We need to make those games count to give us a little breathing space and make sure that away game to Plymouth isn't all or nothing ahead of a tricky run in. We have the capabilities to do this |

He has real Main Character Energy - Pounced on the keeper spill (cutting their head open in the process) and went down like a dying elephant - Missed a great headed chance end of firsat half - Missed a penalty - Hit the post before our second goal A mentalist |

I wonder if Kakay had a decent appearance fee/sub fee and the way they managed to free up wage space for the 4 Jan signings was by factoring in that if they drop Ozzie completely they won't ever have to pay that. Probably same for Adomah who has not been in matchday squad since Jan. Reckon that's saved them £1k a week at least |

This is what Burnley did last season and they've reached the Prem and been completely found it. I'm sure Maresca and Kompany are decent managers, but they are playing/played the league on easy with vastly superior players and set ups. Leicester will go up, but if they rigidly stick to playing a certain way they will come straight back down. The successful promoted clubs of the last 5-10 years (Brentford, Brighton and to some extent Luton) have done OK because they've adapted to the situation. |

Chelsea are being investigated because their owners took over from a Russian war criminal, looked at the books and flagged them straight away to the PL as dodgy. I sort of feel sorry for them as it's the old regime that's being investigated. They are fcked this summer though as they have to sell shit loads of players to balance the books after no Europe for 2 years. Forest are a fcking joke. They brazenly broke the rules last season, overspent ridiculously and now will be punished for it. All that will happen though is they'll go down, keep all their players, blitz the Championship and come back up |

That was my first ever away game. We were awful that game, still remember that bloke cupping his ear in front of us, a Rangers fan running on the pitch to try and fight the whole of the Port Vale home end. I cheered and my Dad told me to not cheer an idiot. My Dad also still talks about how good the journey home was, not a moments traffic |

They are an Athletic podcast. The interest in QPR is zero. Stan is ours, but at the end of the day he's a maverick with 5 England caps and 1 goal. That doesn't diminish what he means to us and the club, but the guests they had on certainly weren't the right ones to talk about him (Italy obsessed Jimbo, Matt Davis-Adams who works for Chelsea and supports Forest, Another Forest fan in Daniel Storey and the irish fella). It was a shame they never mentioned him. To be honest I was surprised at the amount of national coverage it DID get over the weekend. Was wonderful to see people wax lyrical about him and our club |
| Forum Reply | Millwall at 09:21 22 Feb 2024
Really think Millwall and Stoke are the 2 for us to watch. Huddersfield look good enough to get out of it whilst Brum and Blackburn likely have enough to stay afloat. Swansea seem to be forever, tantalisingly a few points to many ahead The Rotherham game is enormous because a win likely lifts us out the bottom 3 and may be the turning point that our improvement under Cifuentes coincides with Millwall and Stoke sinking |

Yeah they've definitely chucked stuff overboard. Shodipo and Niko gone as well. Fox, Cook, Begovic, Colback, Smyth you'd imagine aren't coming close to what was jettisoned in the summer wages wise. |
| Forum Reply | FFP result with finances out. at 08:38 20 Feb 2024
We *should* be over the worst of it now tbf. Next set of accounts will likely show more losses, but basically that we chucked everything overboard and the losses should come down from £20m to something not resembling a trainwreck. That decision not to sell a couple of players in Summer 2022 is looking like an all timer from QPR. Willock, Chair, Dickie, Dieng all would've comfortably fetched close to £10m and massively, massively eased the pain |
