Reading the room on this one, my opinion based on no facts is that this was a decision that had been planned last season, but the development squad cup run and win, delayed things. The development squad was almost dismantled the next day and the optics of getting rid of Furs at the same time was one step too far.
Who will be dropped from the 9 man bench to make way for Hayden's return on Wednesday? I think Kolli did enough on Saturday to give a matchday squad place, but things will get difficult when Poku and Vale are available.
Nice problem to have, but JS will be making some tough decisions this season. An injury free squad, brings additional challenges.
I was so bored this morning that I changed all the wrappers around on the sweets in a tin of Celebrations. The wife is not happy as she's now got her Snickers in a Twix
We have such a strong squad now, when everyone's fit it will mean Frey, Field, Kolli, Vale, Morgan and Smyth are fighting for three seats on the bench. My preference is Kolli over Frey as an attacking option. But it's gonna be tough on some very good players not even making the match day squad.
I hope we stick with Hamer for a little longer, even when Walsh is fit. It's one less position to worry about and he seems up for it. I think JCS would normally do better for the first goal.
Hamer distribution and presence in the box makes him first choice, as there are to many ????? for the other two.
Totally agree. I have seen every minute he has played since returning from injury and he has played well. Chair back in the side is not the reason our form dipped and he hasn't been at fault for any losses. We are a better team with him playing and his ability to keep possession has been missed.
I would like to see him play behind Kone as a 10 and play Burrell a bit wider. Kone seems a bit lost right now, and JS doesn't seem to know his best starting XI yet.
I posted this on the Swansea thread, hopefully we can keep the away form going at Derby.
"Sky Bet posted that QPR had taken 19 points on the road since the start of April which is more than any other club. I am guessing this is any other English club.
I did a quick check on the results and apart from the Coventry brain fart we have been excellent on the road. This seasons home form has also improved and hopefully we can find some balance with the team rotation."

Blue Lights, every season gets better. Top class acting and scripts. Season 3 Episode 4, was compelling TV and directed by ex Corrie Angela Griffin, she did an amazing job. Can see this show picking up more awards this year.
Same for Burrell who yesterday, was still in Jamaica. Depends when he and Saito joined up again with squad. Hopefully both start, as the didn't get off the bench this week.
I would start Mbengue every game he is available and I fully expect him to pick up a few more suspensions.
Agreed on all the above. I normally check reviews and read up on the plot, but on this occasion didn't and really enjoyed the ride. Some great performances and a great script.
I really don't get the fixation on Steve Bould not being part of the match day team. His role covers all levels from the younger academy age groups through to the first team. He was not appointed to solely focus on the first team and match day coaching as that is Alou Diarra's role. Steve bould is often seen at home games, but you would need to reduce his non first team duties, if we expect him to also travel around the country as well.
Tough on Morrison, but I think Mbengue should start every game until he he gets to the 10 inevitable Yellows, but whoever starts with him Cook or Morrison.
I would go with Cook/Mbengue and look to give Morrison game time where possible.
Horses for courses, I fully backed Les and now I'm backing Christian Nourry. He's proving to be an astute business man, but Les had the club's best interest at heart and I don't get the need to compare, we finally seem to be a much better run club, but Les didn't get us relegated and fulfilled his remit.
