Appalling decision. |

I agree, the back five were the highlight for me yesterday. Original post is harsh on Mbenge, he did a great job yesterday at full back and made some excellent runs forward when given the chance. He's suffered along with others from JS's constant chopping and changing. Dunne and Cook were both solid and made up for the mix up by both saving us and blocking goal bound efforts. Field was for the second time this season decent in the other full back slot against as you say two good forwards. I'd be more than happy for these guys to start against Hull, Hamer was excellent. |

He did all the basics very well. It was great to see a goal keeper be a goalkeeper. He's made that spot his going forward, fair play to him. |

Quite a poor game all round really, seems to be quite typical of the championship these days. Defensive changes worked so credit to JS for that, Hamer was excellent and just what we needed, whole back five looked much better. Tactically going forward though we were poor, constantly sending in long high balls and long throws which United dealt with easily and we were not sharp or keen enough to play for the second ball. We often just gave the ball back to them. I found it rather frustrating as the high ball approach clearly did not work but when we did get it on the floor and tried to play a bit we had some success, bizarre how the players and coaching staff can't see that. A point away from home is ok but United were very poor as well. Felt for Kone, he worked his socks off flogging a dead horse, he can't be enjoying that role. |

He was in a fair bit of the training footage throughout the week, must just be out of favour, bizarre how Frey get's in ahead of him. JS clearly doesn't know his best team yet which again is odd as I'm pretty sure we could tell him..... Felt sorry for the young lad at left back today, not played for a few weeks and just thrown in at the deep end instead of the steady and reliable RND, another odd decision to add to the ever growing list. |

His hair is quite simply superb now, it was certainly the best thing on display yesterday. |

Yeah I agree to a certain extent fella, at times it does seem like a school playground battle of I'm right you're wrong, all gets a bit immature and boring. |

Loved how he grabbed the ball for the penalty and then put it away well. Thought him and RND were probably out two best players today, good of him to accept some fault for the goal and he's clearly working on his defending in general but blame is really with Nardi. He's not a world beater as some think he should be, but he seems honest, is putting the graft in and can play a bit, I quite like him. |

Great interview, love how he gives a special mention to Kolli as well. |

Yep agree, great performance from Kone, reminded me of Ferdinand back in the day, great to see. Really liked seeing two up top and thought Burrell did well too, they could potentially be an excellent partnership. The subs got us back in the game, Saito the best of them, his post match interview with Smyth is just bloody brilliant. Thought we did ok in parts but we are our own worst enemy at times. ND did well on his debut too. Walsh is still an issue. |
