And it's NOT a Sport.
Any event that can be won or lost by a pit stop is crazy.
It's not a test of Driver skills.
A combination of any so called Sport & gambling will breed corruption.
How many on this forum are interested in Formula one, NOT many I bet.
( there you go, it's even got me gambling). |

Baz makes simple saves look spectacular but can't deal with anything that's a bit more difficult.
He is so easily beaten from distance & is not commanding enough or brave enough to deal with corners & ball into the box.
Goalkeeping is a real problem for us because neither Macca or Baz are good enough but of the two Macca is the better. |

I know most on this forum will disagree with me but I think Macca is a much better keeper than Baz.
Not saying that Macca is great, but he's much calmer than Baz & I am sure the defence feel more comfortable with him behind them.
Put yourself in our defenders position & which one would you prefer to have behind you.
We can no longer protect Baz by saying he's still young & will get better but he's now very experienced & has not improved, he's just not commanding enough in the box.
He & Slack Jack together are the two main reasons that we revert back to tippy tippy playing across the back.
When we got promoted two seasons ago it was mainly because Baz was out injured & Macca played last few games including the play offs.
I'm convinced we would not have won the play offs with Baz in goal ( but we'll never know). |

Yes Flynn Downes serving 1 match suspension after his booking on Tuesday.
I'm a bit surprised he risking Cam Bragg at the Lions Den, that will be a big challenge for him but he deserves that after his impressive debut.
But with Oriel on the bench, he'll come on late in game to see the game out.
But we really are going to miss Leo, he's been a stand out for us & completely changed the way we play. |

Quarshie in for Stephen's, I think Slack Jack had a slight hammy pull on Saturday,
I did notice him holding the back of his leg a couple of times.
Downes back in for Bragg, he was left out on Saturday because he was on 4 Yellow cards & didn't want to risk him getting suspended for this game. |

If the rumours are true that SR are attempting to buy another club to increase the number of clubs under their ownership to 5.
This should not be allowed it is not a good model for pro football.
It might work if you apply this group ownership to pubs / Shops etc but it's is not good for football.

Our track record against Leicester in recent years is dreadful.
Including the forgettable 9- 0 drubbing.
But they no longer have the menace of Jamie Vardy, we could never cope with him.
Leicester aren't that great this season so it's a good opportunity for us.
At least we'll go into the game full of confidence.
I am now looking forward to our next game instead of fearing the worst every week. |

Flynn Downes is on 4 yellow cards, could that be why he was benched against Charlton.
If that's the case then he'll be back in against Leicester on Tuesday.
That would be a bit tough on young Cam Bragg because he was excellent in his debut on Saturday. |

In all the time that AA has been with us that is the best I've seen him play.
Playing a bit deeper & being the creator rather than the scorer suited him.
He was much more involved instead of being isolated up front.
Not sure it will work against better teams than Charlton but it's an option to change our style of play. |

Cam Bragg did OK, he didn't look out of place & used the ball really well.
It was a good game for him to debut because we were always well in control & under no pressure.
But he & Tonda will be well pleased with the way it went. |

If Tonda hadn't been offered the job full time before this game started then there's no doubt that he's got it now.
He could not have done more in the 3 games he's coached the team. |

I personally don't know much about him.
I assume that Downes is carrying a knock so he's on the bench.
But great to see a local lad getting a game.because Cam Bragg was born in Winchester. |

Adam Lallana has now been downgraded to u21's coach.
That with Trollope moving to Wolves means there's a totally different team supporting Tonda.
Let's hope that all these changes have the desired affect.
