I like them. I was very uncertain given the snooty image I had in mind so we went for a short one initially just in case we hated it but found the opposite. With P&O you can completely avoid the formal set dining and just use the 24 hour buffet which has a good variety on offer. There are also various types of restaurants and bars including a pub type with real ale.
You can just stay on board, of course, but it's like being in a hotel at a different location every day or two. I'd usually go for a run soon after docking to have a scope of the locale and then later have a walk round if we haven't booked an excursion that day. [Post edited 4 Jul 15:18]

I've been alcohol free for just over nine years now and it's about 12 years with one lapse. Very pleased I managed to kick it, I feel healthier mentally and physically, happier in my skin. |

An acquaintance of mine was in a local band heavily influenced by Status Quo, John Coghlan then hired them, minus the drummer, to be 'John Coghlan's Quo' playing classic 70s Quo stuff. Does it still count as a tribute band if it has an original member? |
