Groundhog Day. How stupid of me to walk out of LR after we demolished the Foxes wondering if I should book to come back again for the playoffs in May. I should have learned by now 🤷🏻‍♂️

As much as I hate Millwall, I just hope we give a good account of ourselves and take the game up to Ipswich. They’ll be nervous so we should have a crack at them. Be nice to finish on a high after a season that has fizzled out when it promised so much more.

Really not sure about Julien. He seems to be dogged in sticking to 4-4-2 which has always worried me. As we all know, you need to be tactically flexible depending on who you’re facing. Seems like we are another club that’s not letting the Manager have a real say in player recruitment which might explain his stubbornness on tactics. Spoke to a Chelsea mate yesterday and he said the owners just tell the Manager who they’ve signed. Rosenior apparently asked for a defensive midfielder and they just said here, have another winger - Senor Garnacho. Farcical.

Can we not go up another level at LR? Was there in December and loved the atmosphere but not the cramped seats. Met a lot of clever architects during my career. Surely we can find a solution for the current site?

Just watched the highlights. Good on them, very happy for them. Alfie had a huge grin on his face so very pleased for him too. Brought back some happy memories of our promotion parties. 😎

Need to watch out for Nestory Irankunda. The boy is electric. Came off the bench for the Socceroos on Tuesday and scored 2 in 4 minutes.

Chair is undoubtedly a very skilful footballer but he often unbalanced the team in my view. Became a bit of a one trick pony constantly cutting in to shoot from the left rather than pass. That said, he was often cited as our most dangerous player by the opposition. Always thought he had the quality to play in the Prem but alas, that ship has probably sailed I fear. I will wish him well whatever he decides to do. QPR product who managed to shine in some pretty terrible teams over the years.
