Cesar stars again as Nelsen bids farewell — full match report
at 04:26:52

What we got out of the result can be looked at 2 ways. One is to admit we rode our luck at times and should be happy with the point, the other was Man City may be a lot of things going forward, but on the back foot if Mr Hart dosent stop every chance the opposition have then his defenender certainly wont. The quality of Man City in there front 3 alone is world class. But if they dont score then it is a wild guess who does for them.I felt last night Harry got his formation an player selecton right.Nielsen an Hill may be no spring chickens but none of the Man City front 3 were going anywhere near a 50/50 or even a header against them.Fabio is young, makes mistakes but is quick, agressive and wants to learn,an was up for a battle last night. As were Onouha and Traore.Too often they have been a bit timid but I felt last night they were well up for it and constantly looked to force Man City into the corners and close them down, while always being quick to break.Which left Man City to attack down the flanks ,pass it ,pass it an pass it an try to work it into our box.Dont get me wrong it worked a few times but if it fails all they have left is Djecko,an that takes away from there game.

Midfield worked hard, honestly Granero did give the ball away an awful lot in the 1 half but lets be honest here, hes been taken from the midfield of Real Madrid, surrounded by Galacticos in the heat an sun and like Bobby Ewing popping his head out from the shower ya blink yer eyes an hes surrounded by Derry an Mbia on a wet an windy night in London.Give him a chance at least to fail before we condem him.Derry did all the dirty little things we need him to do,the cute fouls.Stopping Man City before they got going, nicking the ball away an giving it to Adel or Granero. He did the stuff Barry/Milner an a few of his team mates think is above them now, they could learn from him.Ya he gave the ball away once, maybe twice. But he constantly broke up the play during the game which allowed us to get into it.Mbia is a bigger version of Diakite.Enough said.I thought Remy when put through looked the buisness, but the game last night didnt allow us to get him into those postions. When we get Zamora or ahem Crouch allowing him to play off either it should be a different story.I thought Adel at times was the best player on the park. His attitude was at times astounding.Players around him lost the ball and he tracked back with tackles to win it back and get us going again,,,,,ADEL DID THOSE THINGS.He was the only real threat we posessed an Man City had no answer to him, none.

Yes we defended an awful lot,but when you are in the position we are in a point gained is better than 3 lost.Harry may have got it wrong big time against the Dons but 5 points from Chelsea,Spurs an Man City, come on how many of us expected that.

Im all for venting my fury when its terrible to watch, but we have a team trying to fight there way out of a seemingly impossible situation. And going on last night it may just be a little less of an impossibility.

Finally, thanks Ryan from all us exiles who cant get to games every week to applaud you and shout your name in praise. Thanks mate it may of only been 18 months but you will be remembered as a ledgend. All i can say is you an Macca would of been some center half pairing.

And last but not least, please Harry, dont sell Jamie. For every gobshite useless over paid mug of a player this club has signed on inflated contracts all through the years, and God knows we have had far to many,,,,this one lad is the real reason we love our club, because a player like him plays for us,he loves our club an it shows in every tackle, every seemingly dead ball chased only to be kept in,every defender sick of the sight of his boundless energy. We need players who belive we can get out of this,an he is one who will never give up on us.
