Contracts
at 16:34 28 Jun 2020

From what I can gather these are the players whose contracts expire in the next year...

2020 - Rangel, Hamalainen

2021 - Leistner, BOS, Manning, Eze, Masterson, Dieng, Lumley, Smyth, Kakay, Wallace, Ball, Owens, Cameron, Oteh.

I presume most of those whose contracts expire in 2021 we have a further years option on. Contract renewals over the next year or so are going to be vital in shaping our future, Ferdinand is going to be busy!

Nice little piece with some sensible comments from young players including 2 of our own. It's good to see a great attitude and mindset in our youngsters.

Bullsh*t if you ask me, why should the taxpayer prop up football clubs.

Rival XI
at 14:11 22 Mar 2020

So in our boredom myself and a few mates are putting together our 'dream team' made entirely from players of our biggest rivals. So the Liverpool fan is doing a Man Utd XI, the Man Utd fan is doing a Liverpool XI and of course I'm doing a chelsea XI. The only rule is that they can't have played for your club which rules out the likes of Wilkins, Wilson etc. Ideally it'll contain players you'd have liked to have played for your club.

How would yours look?

GK: Cech
Def: Petrescu
Def: Desailly
Def: Bogarde (just for shafting them by sitting on his fat contract!)
Def: Azpilicueta
Mid: Poyet
Mid: Gullit
Mid: Lampard
Mid: Mata
For: Zola
For: Vialli

Not paid their players on time, I’m sure the EFL are fine with this.

Home shirt is tidy, although the sponsors logo looks a bit off. Away shirt is atrocious again.

This won’t surprise anyone but just highlights what an incompetent disgrace Mark Hughes is, Southampton have had a lucky escape getting rid of him early on.

Disappointed he didn’t get a game today, should we be looking to send him out on loan for the rest of the season?

Rumours that the dodgy russian is looking to sell up, amazing really, all he was asked to do was prove where his money was coming from

Sadly they'll probably end up with some other mega rich owner, hopefully they'll be as useless as ours...

He’s the only realistic option that I can think of. If McLaren doesn’t get a result v Wigan he has to go, resigning I hope as he wouldn’t deserve a pay off!!

Due to be fined £7.6m but settled at £4.75m. I'd like to know the basis on which this was agreed as surely it could impact our dispute...
