 | Forum Thread | Bush Middle Eastern restaurant tips at 15:16 8 Feb 2026
My sister and her family are coming down next Saturday (husband and daughter Rovers fans) and we were going to have lunch together beforehand. Abu Zaad used to be great ten years ago but not getting such good reviews. Any tips for Middle Eastern sit-down (or place to avoid)? |

Only going to get worse. It’s not the fault of the Hollywood Two, but it’s a shame to see them pump air up the bum of a small football club to get them to float for a while above their natural station when they could have done something to cheer up the whole nation in a field where they have real tradition. It’s their money, but I don’t welcome the rising sporting monoculture. |

Wasn’t Dembélé’s injury caused when the Coventry player ran across his heels. He went down too and had to go off later in the first half. Seems bizarre to blame the pitch, let alone blame Dembélé. |

100% commitment. Massive disruption. Can’t finish. Deserves his chance at the World Cup, but good luck, Scotland. |

Knows where the goal is. Very careful not to put the ball in it. |

I thought his distribution really showed his confidence, very accurate and unhurried. |

Closest to scoring (apart from Kolli) as well - just his kind of game, sit back and deal with incoming rather than being pulled out of position. |

I get a lot of work emails from Chinese companies. My favourite Chinese adopted names are Viking Kwok, Frodo Ho and Aroma Ding. The two sons of the Filipino Military Attache were at our school - Erwin and Rommel. [Post edited 6 Feb 23:08]

I had the benefit of missing the first half. Strong finish at least, can’t claim we weren’t pressing for the win at the end. I thought Walsh’s distribution was very good, shows his confidence. Apart from Vale perhaps, I thought the energy levels were high at the end, big difference from as recently as Wrexham. |

I’m only following it on Cricinfo, but this is a wonderful game. Well, I jinxed that. Still great effort by Falconer, let’s hope Middlesex can keep him, but hail to the New King! [Post edited 6 Feb 14:55]

Got it on my Chromebook, not on my iPhone, if that helps (which it won't). |

Every episode they kept reverting to the dubbed version, it was awkward to get it back. It was funny that the Prince’s voice was much deeper in English while he was still a boy in the original. Didn’t spot the AI, I find streaming channels are often a bit off in the voice sync so I avoid focusing on the faces as it annoys me. |

He’ll make much more money at home these days. The only hope for the rest of the world is his shoulders breaking down from overuse, or him getting bored at 19 and deciding he wants to play baseball. |

Finished Néro The Assassin on Netflix. Part Game of Thrones, part Da Vinci Code, part Spaghetti Western, 100% cheesy nonsense. Didn’t believe a word of it but really enjoyed it. |
