Yes that seems very likely: I assume there must have been some kind of proof for the other two incidents.
If the punishment sticks then that’s a proper deterrent and should stop the problem reoccurring in the future. |

He’s an elite manager so of course he will want to spend a lot of money on ready made experienced players which goes against their ethos. And even if they do agree to spend ££££££££££££s they will have to offload hundreds of sh1t players with 8 years remaining on their contracts first to avoid failing FFP.
Hope the whole thing ends in a lot of tears for them. |

Retrospective punishment for Afcon was a lot easier as it is a knockout tournament: much harder to implement in a league format. EFL will be crossing everything that Southampton don’t get promoted. |

Hull have done a proper job on Millwall tonight: their manager totally out-thought Neill.
Think they’ve got a great chance in the final if they play like that again.

The club could’ve announced all three departures on consecutive days: that would’ve have been drip feeding it.
Better than the Colback situation where we knew ye was out of contract at the end of the season but it took months to announce he’d actually left….. |

So you’d have kept Hamer or Nardi and offered either one a new contract?
They’ve announced nice and early that three senior players are leaving which is fair to the individuals involved and gives us plenty of time to get replacements: seems common sense to me. |
