That's right Stainrod, was a loan with a buy option upon getting promoted, St Ettienne didn't get promoted by the way so it was not a favourable deal whatsoever. Also along with the "It's been no secret Varane has been demanding out for a year", seems like whispers from a mate are just being told as facts now. Try watching Varane belt out Silver Lining at the end of each game, jumping into the stands with fans and tell me that's a guy sulking and wanting to get back home. Cooper and Field are players that recently wanted to move on and the club duly obliges. You can think anything about the hierarchy but I do think it's clear that the selling policy and ability to move on players has improved. That will ultimately be judged on an impending "big sale", but the lack of "hanger ons" is great both financially and for the morale around the club. |

Great to meet you out there Clive, hopefully the family didn't disgrace themselves too much, absolute carnage that place was. Somehow made it back all in one piece yesterday. Have a good rest of the trip and good luck with round 2 tomorrow! |

Lots of shot stopping practice at least! I think as what may have been mentioned before, his number of games would be higher without the injury troubles he's had, which is what makes this Ward signing such a great move as it looks like we'll have a very competent backup / future no1. City aren't paying the 10m+ for no reason and I also think it's a good look for the club that they are trusting us over a Wrexham with a young player they clearly rate. Likely an unpopular opinion, but such relationships in the past have helped us massively (Spurs with Taarabt, Walker). As long as the player elevates the team, which in this case I think it's a clear upgrade compared to recent years [Post edited 9 Jul 14:00]

Would be remiss to not mention his international career also. 1st choice recently playing in games vs France and Italy. That's got to mean something when it comes to experience, even at that age |

Calum Ward set to be completed as well, as per Sky Sports. Fee 800k ft. some promising stats from the main man JTSupple |

Pearman is definitely more of a 10, he has 14 goals in 25 games for the DS this season now and I think most of them would be goal of the season contenders, he certainly knows how to finish Hopefully highlights will be released and can be posted in here |

Agree and it's great we have these players in the pipeline that you hope can contribute at League one level minimum. I think there will be keen eyes in preseason on the likes of Pearman, Dillon, Alemayehu, Brew, Sanyaolu. Well done Rs and regardless of the level of opponent, I think it's an important step to form a "winning mentality" in the grassroots of this club, can certainly do no harm |

Absolutely this, a hattrick tonight and another long range goal which is becoming a trade mark. Similarly like Bennie, he deserves a chance |

Diarra and Cuni took the pre match warmups / training for the Watford game from what I could see. I can assure you that he is very much involved |

I thought my response was tame to a poster who came in here to intentionally provoke all the contributors to the thread and further fanbase to be honest. I agree, Chair's comments that the younger players need further support was accurate and some could take note |

That's brilliant. Anyway, as you've managed to turn a nice thread into a particularly unsavoury one, I'll leave you to it so enjoy. |

Yes that's all things I said actually |

Well done Alfie. Also to no ones surprise, an extremely popular player over there |

https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/202 6 days ago "building his conditioning ahead of his return." Don't think anyone has said he's back recently, unless I missed something? |

Well I'm gutted we couldn't win the game of course, but if showing some sympathy and supporting one of our young players is "below" your standards, then respectfully f*ck them. I'd urge you to watch Mr QPR Ilias Chair's recent interview |

He looked incredibly upset with himself after FT. I hope people at the club are putting an arm around him right now, can't be easy for a 19 year old but these moments could be the making of him. I think he should take the positives like has been posted in here, being a chance magnet and knowing how to position correctly might actually be the hard part. I imagine the finishing will largely be confidence which hopefully he can find on a decent loan spell next season |
