I can remember quite a few incidents over the years both at QPR and elsewhere. Used to hang around in a group of about 8/9 mates all supporting different London teams, QPR, West Ham, Fulham, Charlton, Arsenal and Spurs and we'd just pick a game on the Saturday or midweek and turn up.

Got caught up in a few scuffles here and there but nothing too much, part of the match day experience 70s and 80s. Scariest moment was when West Ham visited Fulham and the police sent mounted police into the mouth of the underground tunnel that linked the park with Putney Bridge station, nowhere to run, so many just got trampled by the horses.

Forest, Portsmouth, Chelsea, Luton and Wolves were all a bit tasty at Loftus Rd, but to be honest the worst I've witnessed is our own 'in-fighting' examples being the knife attacks at the Milk Cup Final 1986 and Doncaster away (of all places) under Warnock, never understood it really, why fight your own?

Took my 5 year old boy to his first game today
at 16:12 31 Dec 2019

My eldest's first game was a friendly v Celtic 2002 (lost 3-7) and then didn't see us win for over three seasons (maybe i chose the wrong games?!), he's been going over 15 years now and loves every minute win, lose or draw. Often asks why I inflicted QPR on him though :)

Pubs before / after games
at 10:35 8 Nov 2019

we often do a 'mini'crawl before the game, Defectors, The Green, White Horse, Conningham if time, then after tends to be Adelaide, Conningham, White Horse and The Green and for some strange reason, never worked it out, the Argyle Arms on Oxford street to finish!

If we drive its the Crown & Sceptre before and after

To be fair plenty of decent boozers around the ground

Looking forward to Tuesday actually, it will be good to see us up against a decent team, hopefully we can raise our game and cut out the defensive frailties

Didn't go yesterday but watched at home , ITV not great but I did enjoy the chat with Hoddle on the 1979 Bulgaria game which was postponed due to fog and then played the next night as it was one of my early England games
