C'mon Sam, you must know Lassel by now... Friend of a friend and ITK about everything but never provides the source or facts to back it up

Madsen extends contract

I am no doubt there will be people who harp on about his first season with us - But I for one think this is another solid contract extension and clearly very key in Stephans plans

How you can moan about Bhatia is beyond me. He was often the voice of reason and did a lot for us behind the scenes

Not sure if thats possible

He played in the WC in 2022 for Ghana and has 11 senior caps to date - Is it possible to just switch

Definitely up for the Championship

Premiership, maybe

And maybe we can give Elnombre a handicap... Although he would probably still beat us all

As a neutral I am gutted for Davman

On a serious note, well done Elnombre for another victory

Maybe give this seasons championship one a miss so us poor peasants stand a chance. Thanks Croydon for setting this up

I mean there may well be English people who have moved out to the States for work or other reasons and have their children with them and attend matches. I only saw one or two clips of people being interviewed at the airport with their school age children going to the States

I really disagree with you on this as someone who lost a close family friend in the Falklands War

Fans will be Fans and to be honest I get that we have been no better in the past and you get thousands chanting its impossible to stop that and your earlier post I agreed with because I assumed you were referring to the fans.

But their players crossed a line by taking the banner and holding that up. It was wrong on so many levels and its not 'sour grapes' - They showed disrespect towards not only our armed forces that lost their lives but theirs too.

Having a banner in the stands can easily be avoided by the media but when a football team celebrating a big win holds it up in the full knowledge that it would be seen by all, it crosses the line and not something that England as a Football team have been a part of.

The Argentinian players knew exactly what they were doing of that I am sure, and when asked about it were not remorseful the following day either.

I feel that is what some people are upset about and rightly so IMO

To be fair to Spence, he had been all over on that left side and the one time Messi got the ball over, Spence had clearly injured himself overstretching, and instead of going down he tried to carry on but it was too late

I do agree with Ozexile, we had to bring on fresh legs further up the pitch, to close down their players before they could more often that not just send the ball back. We just had no target man because everyone sat behind the ball.

I do agree with you from a later post though, that the first goal with all those defenders and we couldn't close him down sooner... There were 3 of their players lining up to take a shot and the only person to react was Bellingham, all too late sadly

Well I hope you're proud of yourself!!!!

The country is in mourning today because E17hoop chose to go to a concert rather than watch England in a semi final and in doing so sealing our doom before a ball had even been kicked... THANKS!!

Of course, I am only joking, glad you had a great time... That said I am still none the wiser as to who 'SOAD' are - even though I am the same age as you!!

That last paragraph is bang on - Take James off as well and we would have at least been pushing forward more than we were in that last 30 mins

I have given up reading all the posts as I suspect many are posting exactly how I feel this morning.

After Gordons goal, which we well deserved and were the better team, we at that point should have brought on some fresh legs in Midfield, and in addition taken off James. So not gone wholesale defence, but refresh what was there. I would have put Spence (Who again had a blinder regardless of the result) on the right and O'Reilly in his position.

Then Mainoo and Eze or Rashford (who has been excellent as Sub) to freshen up the midfield. Against Mexico, when we had 10 men, we still left Gordon up front so we had a target man for an out ball - Instead, it became like pinball, the ball went out of box and just straight back - rinse and repeat - players becoming worn down with no positive just constant wave after wave of attack. I mean FFS we saw just 12% possession after Gordons goal. Tuchel lied when he said we kept to the 442, because when Konsa (i think) came on he clearly signalled to switch to 5-4-1

Anyway, my post is probably just rinsing and repeating but my thoughts post match after a sleep and early morning visit to the supermarket and cafe is this:

I for one never thought we would get past the quarters at best so well done to the whole squad for proving me wrong

Tuchel should be given at the very least a shot at the Euro's in 28 and unless a shocking performance in that tournament a chance to make things right in 2030. Beyond that, without silverware we should be looking for another manager. A world cup semi final in his first tournament is pretty good and better than most achieve in the whole career - As we often say about QPR, its not always about changing things up.

Finally, there are some players whose career with England has come to an end and we need to make changes and Tuchel must not be afraid to do that for the greater good. A lot of that begins in defence where in my opinion as soon as he is home is the immediate need to start

So, Well done England, but as is always said, leave no regrets on the pitch if defeated and I think this morning when they wake up there will be lots of ifs and buts and maybes.

I would settle for a last minute winner

Last time in a semi final, We scored first against Croatia and then it all went wrong - So how about we grab a last minute goal to win.

Just 3 people predicted a Spanish victory last night

And Davman was one of them... He is closing in Elnombre so look over your shoulder

Tonight's game is likely to decide the title
