Although, it does allow the less nocturnal of us over here the chance to listen to more of the action, which is a bonus.

It shouldn't even be up for debate.

No. He doesn't fit any of the aforementioned clues, especially as I'm not counting Luton at home in the FA Cup as a significant tie!

Yes, and they both appeared in significant FA Cup ties.

He was born in Bolton, but was a youth player at Man U. Whether he was an even younger youngster at Bolton isn't known.

Five to go.

Three of them never played for Bolton, but were in their youth set-up before joining Dale, where they did play.

Another made 81 appearances for Dale, 16 for Bolton.

The final one was a Dale pre-season trialist and played league football for Bolton. He currently plays in League Two.

The five of them cover years 1977-the present day.

Today's quiz question.

As far as I can find, he's the 13th goalkeeper to have been with Dale and Bolton as a player. Who are t'others?

There are trains back to Littleborough from Accrington at 22.28 and 23.28 on that evening, which would both work out well.

I was saying yesterday that also, if an appeal went out for fans to give lifts to those who were unable to make their own way there, then I'm sure it would be a welcome gesture which most supporters would get on board with.

On a similar note, it was disappointing to read a couple of comments on another platform from season ticket holders asking if the club would reimburse them the cost of the missed matches if they couldn't get there. Talk about not looking at the significantly bigger picture.

It appears that most opposing players have had enough problems with us when it matters this season.

I think the phrase is "When in a hole..."

I'd stay off the mulled wine, if I was you, KK.
