What was Bazunu doing for their winning goal ?
at 00:00 2 Dec 2025

Bizarre that you would blame the last man.

What about the build up ?
Stupidly gave it away
Allowed them to break
Wing back out of position and allowed a deep cross
CB (Stephens) out of position allowing a free header at the far post
From such a tight angle, how did it get past Stephens
From such a tight angle, how did it get past Bazunu as well ?

....yet some how, you blame THB for trying to clear it off the line.

The last minute of injury time and our rear guard all decide to switch off !!

Surely we addressed it last year by signing Rambo ?

We saw the best and worst of Baz today.
A great save, tipping it round the post in the first half.
Slow to get down to the equaliser
Fvck only knows what he was doing for their winner
Never seemed to control his 6 yard box, let alone the 18

Mane fastest ever hat trick
Long 2

Pelle with the 2nd half goal, having already had one chalked off incorrectly for offside in the first half.

....and who did we score 5 second half goals against ?

Rating the new signings
at 14:46 15 Nov 2025

Leo 7 cult figure already, but not difficult to impress in our squad
Casper 7 solid player - will get better as the season progresses
Fellows 5.5 slowly improving
Quarshie 4.5 needs to iron out the errors
Azaz 4 his goal last week has moved him up from a 3. Hoping he kicks on now.
Mads 2 far too negative and frustrating, only comfortable passing it backward
D Downs 0 as he neither offers nor produces anything for the team. He doesn't look like a footballer, he can't control the ball, hold it up, bring others into play, pass, lay it off, win a header, press and is so bad, team mates don't pass to him. Even Alia Dia looked better and had more enthusiasm.
Jelert ? Looked good in the 2 occasions I've seen him. Strange that he isn't being played, but suppose we have an abundance of right backs. Personally I think he is better than Roerslev, but fear he will return to his parent club in January, if he fails to get more game time.

I had a quick look at his results -

Played 11
Won 2
Drawn 7
Lost 2 (they have lost their last 2 league games)

Sulemana has scored twice and assisted once in those games

He is just as bad - and an ex-England International !!

3 shots on target v Preston = 2 goals
4 shots on target v Bristol City = 3 goals

Bazunu

4 shots on target v Hull = 3 goals
Pathetic attempt to save that late leveller at Watford that cost us 2 points

Both seem to lack concentration and are always good for a mistake that, most worryingly, they never seem to learn from.

Sick of all these unforced errors. Goals change games. 2-0 and semi cruising, then a gift and the mood changes, the tactics change and it's backs to the wall for 20 odd minutes. You could feel the little confidence we had drain instantly.

WTF was Baz doing for their goal ? Or that corner given away ? Or that drop in the 6 yard box ? (I do recall 1 decent save late on - but 1 that an international keeper should be making).

Recall Rambo in January
Pay him his Prem wages
We aren't going anywhere with this current pair of cvnts for 'keepers

.....or maybe give Long, that Norwich reserve a go ?

Suggestion ?

Too old and too cheap for us, with no sell on value

...but don't worry as an unknown and unproven USA International, playing in the German 2nd tier is worth a punt at £6-7m, based on an alleged ex-manager's recommendation

What is the real reason aribo and edozie and not selected
at 23:28 27 Oct 2025

Still has confirmed that they are not up to match fitness yet !!

.....that, despite the transfer window closing on 1st September (56 days for them to get fit) and the fact that both were involved in some of the pre-season games.

They will probably remain out of the picture and continue to be paid a good weekly wage, until club or agent can arrange a move for them in the January window.

Sack Will Still Poll
at 14:03 27 Oct 2025

Nick - Perhaps it is down to multiple viewings. Maybe the 50 or so people have each looked at the poll 20 times, to see how their original votes are in the overall standings ?

Or people take a look and think what is the point in voting ? It is hardly going to influence the owners in any way.

After Bristol City it was bad enough, but then the result at Blackburn made up a lot of people's minds, so are you surprised at the 70% ?

What is your point ?

It once took the not very prolific Shane Long 7 and a bit seconds to score in the Prem v Watford !! :-)

We only had Danso on loan for a season - with an option to buy

He was signed mainly as cover at CB
He was a CB
Ralph played him mainly at RB
Ralph only played him 6 times in the league and a few in the cup
He wasn't very good at RB
He wasn't really very good at defending
He got sent off
He didn't do enough to justify us buying him, so he was sent back

This was all 5 1/2 years ago.
Different players mature and improve at different rates.
He was definitely not worth keeping after his season on loan with js

Watford sack Their Manager..SHOCK!!!
at 13:51 8 Oct 2025

He probably would have been sacked much sooner, if we had a proper 'keeper and had managed to twice hold on to a lead at their place 5 or 6 weeks back.

Apparently they got 7 points from their last 3 games as well !! WTF !!

Southampton At Derby County The Verdict
at 15:03 6 Oct 2025

Overly harsh on Manning. Yes he should have accepted it and got on with it, instead of arguing so much with the Lino, but so many others could have done so much netter. It was headed in from just inside the 6 yard box, so AMcC should have definitely come for it, instead of staying rooted to his line in the middle of goal. Perhaps he didn't want to take a whack ? It was bizarre, because he come off his line to catch or punch on many other occasions during the game. It was p1ss poor marking from our defence, especially Edwards - perhaps they were expecting AMcC to come and claim it ?

Apart from that McCarthy had a great game, bar a few distribution issues and Charles had one of his best games for us.

Sadly I have to mention Damion Downs.
How the fvck is he getting anywhere near our first team squad ?
His performance was embarrassing. Honestly, Ali Dia was better !!
He has no first touch, can't control it, can't time his jumps, can't head it and can't lay it off - let alone press, make a run, or have a shot.
When he did win a header, it went off his '50p head' to the wrong side of the pitch. The Saints fans sarcastically cheered when he eventually got 1 pass completed !! It was crazy that he was on the pitch and even crazier that WS kept him on til the end - perhaps out of stubbornness. Archer would have offered so much more.
We likened his performance to him being the last kid to be picked in a school football match. The players deliberately didn't pass to him because they know how sh1t he is and then very occasionally they would try to keep him interested by giving him a touch, which invariably meant us losing possession. Surely WS has learnt this by now - we can all see it.

5 Things About Derby
at 14:29 6 Oct 2025

1. Good job you didn't go to the Navigation pub you suggested on your Guide to Derby feature. I went past it on the way to the stadium and can confirm that the pub has closed down, but you can park your car there on Match Days for a Fiver. There is also a car wash in the car park.

2. They haven't won at home all season, so nothing really there to get them going.

3. Was in Block 47/48 and the stairs going up to the stands were very narrow, especially with 2 stewards standing there. No wonder it took ages to depart at the end. One at a time FFS.

4. Nice poster as you entered the Gents. Saints Fans: Thank you for travelling 168 miles for today's game. (or something like that)

5. We were driving, but I heard at HT that a few trains were cancelled, so hope everyone got back at a decent hour !!
