Whenever this subject comes up, the question I always have is whether we are judging athletes from history in their time, or if we are hypothetically placing them in the present, competing with modern-day athletes?
This certainly applies to Babe Ruth. In his time, he was certainly the GOAT and changed the sport more than anyone in history (and there is no close 2nd place). But if he were facing modern-day pitching with the insane stuff they throw now, I'm not sure he'd even have much of career in the major leagues. |

Scoreless at the Molineux, with Wolves having the better chances so far. Remaining a draw would be the best outcome here and would top off just about a perfect weekend. |

I turned on the TV while getting ready for work in Dallas. There was a wide shot with the first tower on fire, and the commentary was that a "small" plane accidentally struck it.
About 5 minutes later we watched the 2nd plane hit live on TV, and the shock of what was happening immediately hit me.
Walking out to my car a half hour later, someone told me the Pentagon also got hit. My brother in law was a journalist who officed there, so our family started freaking out. But thankfully he wasn't there. |

Yes. I'd estimate we got about half the Championship fixtures on it last year, including every Wrexham match due to all their annoying Hollywood hype. Maybe about 30-40% of the Swans matches; the rest I had to watch on SwansTV.
Also maybe 2 or 3 League One/League Two matches each week.
So far this season it appears we are getting more. So far 5 of the Swans 7 league fixtures have been on Paramount Plus and I've only needed SwansTV twice. The schedule comes out only 2 or 3 weeks in advance, but I'm hoping that trend continues, at least as long as we are near the top of the table. |

Praise the Lord for Paramount Plus in the USA.
I suppose a draw is the best result here. But if there is a winner I'd prefer Sheffield U over the Wolves, who are probably more of a threat to our position in the table down the road. |

Disappointing our good play hasn't resulted in any real chances, but credit to Wrexham playing not to lose for having a part in that.
And in spite of that, I like what Idah is doing out there. I know Vip was incredible last season, but there are things the Irishman can do away from goal that the Slovenian can't.

Great point. And for us Jacks in the USA it means more fixtures on Paramount Plus on our TV's versus paying £10 to watch on my laptop and then hope SwansTV doesn't **** it up again. |
