Not in a disrespectful way, far from it - Column
at 12:52:40

Thanks Clive for this informative piece. I sat here reading this when I should be out buying a new mattress for my ailing back.
Despite his failings I will miss MW. He was good for us and I wish him all the success he deserves in the future. I think he will learn from his experiences at QPR and improve as a manager.
I can only hope the Board can appoint someone who will continue to improve QPR AND play football I want to watch even away from home.

Out of the darkness cometh light - Report
at 20:52:06

Thank you Clive for putting the game into some perspective for me because sitting behind the goal with 2 security characters immediately in front of me and depth of field creating a challenging barrier to following the game accurately, I wasnt always aware of what was happening.
But I complain when I don't mean to because this being the first live game i have attended since Bournemouth away, I demanded nothing from the team, expected nothing, I was just happy to be there. Even conceeding the awful Barbet's own goal didnt disturb my peace of mind. We are slow starters after all.
Agree with Chair's MOTM. He was superb throughout. I saw him pick up the ball from the net after his goal and sprint to the centre circle and knew what that meant. He wanted to Win. Back to his old self. I felt disappointed when Amos missed the header at the end and I know hope was seeping back.

The perks of being a QPR fan - Report

The Hull and Boro away matches were targeted by me as a 'must see' couple but an eye op next monday put paid to that wish.

Thank you Clive for another enlightening piece. Always welcome when at home within touching distance of the Loft, but even more appreciated when am far away as I am (the Caribbean) until the end of the season. My final match was on Boxing Day at Reading and now I rely entirely on you to wax lyrical about the final few performances of Eze before his inevitable departure to a Premiership bench. Sadly, I won't be back until May 8th, a few days after the final match at West Brom so I won't be seeing him play in an Rssssss shirt again, so, please keep these fine pieces coming.

I want to spend the next 23 games watching the footballing flamethrower that is Ebere Eze on one side and Bright Osayi-Samuel on the other and to hell with the consequences.

Yeah.... and me too.
Going for a 2-2 tonight despite the pissing weather.

QPR bury Brentford in second half onslaught - Report
at 20:27:38

"One goal? An equaliser? Brilliant, love it, treasure it, celebrate it, clutch it like a rare butterfly because it could be weeks before another comes along… but immediately recommence worrying. Is it a flash in the pan?"

Brilliant. Exactly how I felt !! Really pleased I got there despite the rain, I haven't felt like that at Loftus Road for a long long time.

Kids shine as Onuoha and Mackie bid farewell - Report
at 19:55:46

Great reports all season Clive. I am not able to attend many matches so your reports are a godsend. Thanks and keep them coming. Pleased I could see the final home match and enjoyed it. The team looked confident on the ball. The defense confident play belied their age and experience. Loved Chair demanding the ball always making himself available for a pass. Eze's cross field pass to Freeman ( I think ) was sublime. I am unlikely to see the first 4 home games next season so will depend on you and Antii's excellent submissions.

Thanks and have a good summer.

"If we’ve learnt anything this week it’s that you don’t realise how important somebody is, or how much you miss them on and off the pitch, until they’re not there any more."

Tks for the 'stop and take stock' advice.
I will be sad to see 2 of our best defenders leave the club but we are not there yet and Hall may be fully recovered next season.
Fine article , good thoughts

Four star QPR sweep aside Norwich - Report
at 14:17:27

"QPR’s biggest home win of the season, their biggest win since the 5-1 against Rotherham last term, and the first time we’ve scored more than twice at Loftus Road in a game this campaign."
And I was there to see it ! Loved watching Eze. He floats like a butterfly and stings. Loved watching Smith. Enjoyed the match immensley

QPR try a second take at Easter as Norwich visit - Preview

"But for this week, it’s fifteenth v fourteenth and there’s more at stake at this weekend’s meeting of the Cleethorpes and District Knitting Circle than there is at Loftus Road on Monday"

Lol. Another excellent piece and am lmao, but this is the first match I am able to see since Nov 17 having spent the last few months in the caribbean seeing very little of my beloved QPR with just your fine match previews and reports to keep me informed and now i've travelled 4000 miles to see the last few games of the 17/18 season, so I chose to go to the Norwich game because I hoped to see a free and open flowing game with some goals and us winning and now you tell me its going to be boring and meaningless.

"There’s something particularly attractive and nostalgic about seeing QPR’s blue and white hoops against Norwich’s yellow and green, evoking heart-breaking memories of the 1970s and happier ones of the early 1990s when these two sides were among the unlikely pacesetters in the early days of the Premier League."

Perhaps I should have stopped reading after the above paragraph.

V good review. Am not filled with gloom and despondency about our present team. We are rebuilding and that takes time. A change of manager now, even if we lose at Bolton, will not promote team confidence.

I hope Holloway takes us to the end of this season and beyond.
I have seen 2 away games this season at Wed. and Sun. we made enough chances in both to win easily. In both games the team played some really good football in spells.

Last week when I saw Robinson missing from the team sheet I was disappointed and worried about our defence but Baptiste and Bidwell had excellent games.

Pleased to see Sylla start but he needs a hardworking partner, Wheeler perhaps.

We will win today urrrrrrs

McGeady leaves QPR ruing missed chances — Report
at 10:25:53

This is an excellent report and perfectly represents the game I saw at the SOL. "Satisfied disappointment" also describes how I felt after the game too. My MOM was Bidwell for his aggression and determination. Wzolek's decision too cross to no one when a shot on goal when by far the better option leaves me thinking his confidence is shot. We should have, should have won. Onwards to Bolton
