Going to the Stoke game. First time coming over from Ireland since Covid
at 11:19 15 Sep 2022

Can't wait to be back in W12. Manchester Orchestra tomorrow night in O2 Kentish Town and then the main event. Big birthday coming up soon so hoping to have my mug in the programme. Most of all. Holding Stoke for the first 10 and going on to a nice 4-1 win.

Union Chapel
at 09:52 7 Oct 2021

Looking for a bit of help here. So Manchester Orchestra (who! I hear you say) have announced dates for a short European tour. It's an acoustic concert, 2 in the UK. Union Chapel and Gorilla Manchester. As I have booked to go to the States to see them next month I really want to be able to go see them in North London (or Manchester) but alas it seems there is no tickets available.
Dates are 13/14 January (Union Chapel first). Ticketmaster seemingly had some tickets and of course the venues but I am not seeing any anywhere now.
Any help /suggestions welcomed.

What does QPR stand for??
at 10:48 19 Mar 2021

So Irish radio Today Fm presenters, Dermot and Dave, have a slot on their show called Ah Sure Look At, Isn't That It. Sounds weird, right. Anyway they give you a set of letters and the punter has to guess what are the missing words. It starts at €250 and goes up every day until it's guessed. Currently the letters are QPR. Yes. They promptly inform the listeners that it's not Queens Park Rangers. The prize after todays show, €1750. Proving to be elusive. It goes out at 10am after the news. Here are some of the guesses;

All Ireland hurling final

I'm not a huge hurling fan but this has the makings of a classic. Galway v Waterford.
They have never met in a final until today. Off to a great start.

Seems Tony is planning something??
at 18:34 27 Aug 2017

Taken from a post by an Irish R;

I see uncle Tony and his cronies are increasing the share holding of the club. To the untrained financial eye this looks like the club will receive a cash injection. To those that know business it's a clever move to spread the debt the club is currently in. But the board wrote of that debt I hear you say, true but not true, in fact by increasing the shareholding it spreads the debt and gets the club ready for putting in the shop window. The sooner we are sold the better but who is going to buy a club that is on the brink. Worrying times ahead.

Punting Dilemma
at 19:25 21 Dec 2014

Did a 25 euro treble yesterday on 3 games. Villa to win either half 21/10, QPR to win coming from behind 12/1 (yeah I know !!) a and if Chelscum score in both halves tomorrow night (13/8) it pays 2600 euro approx. do I try to cash in (cash bet they might not bite)or do I see it through. Decisions decisions.
