Same as it has been since 2015 - all talk no results. For all that I agree with lots of the anti current regime folk on here, it’s emperors new clothes stuff. Ferdinand and Hoos said the same things as Nourry, but were less pigheaded about it. The wider vitriol for current regime is because how people have been treated, which is totally fair. But they’re making same mistakes the last suits made. It’s not new. Some on here seem to think the QPR world was a rosy, successful place before Nourry… |
 | Forum Reply | Club confirm Hamer, Nardi, Hayden departs... at 15:46 5 May 2026
Well it’s somewhat a surprise given we didn’t know for sure how long they’d be here (Hamer aside). Right call. Nardi and Hayden won’t be on peanuts, and if you can’t get better than them for the same or less money then you have no business being a professional scout. Still farcical that it takes an instagram post from a player for the club to say anything. Sure the league 1 free agent market is going bananas upon finding this news out. What a competitive advantage. |

Ignoring all the conjecture and usual (apparent) ITKs who know what Rayan and Christian had for breakfast this morning: It’s a damning indictment of the fitness record and end to the season if we are looking to offload a high potential prospect because they have to sell someone. Shame. |

‘Sign a f’ing striker’ becomes ‘sign a f’ing goalkeeper’. The statistics of our goalkeepers, for those who care, are by a distance the worst in the league (for all 3). Absolute clusterf of a situation. Mismanagement of the highest order |

This is absolute tokenism. Look we have Morgan Adamson and Smith on all at once. Stat padding for their data on dev squad players in first team. More important than winning the game apparently |

POTY Madsen (Kone and Dunne 2nd and 3rd if they did it like that) YPOTY Kolli (not having Kone as “Y”. Should be under 21 and/or a ‘rookie’ type approach) GOTS Vale, Wrexham H (technical ability required to score that is top level) |

Yeah I’m really looking forward to those 2. Millwall/Boro both giving big Arsenal style bottle job vibes. Ipswich might be up by time we play them but if not that will be fun too. Think we will play a lot better against teams who have something to play for (come onto us, dominate the ball etc - just how we like it!) |

Like most games in this country at the moment, dull as dishwater. Obviously levels above in terms of quality, but you watch the best European teams and they’re not spending 90 seconds setting up corners or taking throw in. Just play. English football obsession with fine margins, high XG chances, and the rest needs putting in the bin. I blame Brentford for getting all data about it in the first place. |

Yeah it was never going to happen. Football discourse is always heavily focused on points totals (for understandable reasons), but the thinking is flawed. The number of team between you and the dotted line is a bigger factor, other teams do play each other and do/don’t get points as a result. And the points totals are always relative to the gaps between teams (look at top 6 last year vs top 6 this year, the spread is going to be half? A third? Sheff U finished 15 points or so more than Sunderland from memory). Fundamentally, at our lowest point we still had a lot of traffic from us to bottom 3. For us to have been pulled in you’re looking not just at Oxford but 4/5 teams to suddenly be hitting 1.5ppg over 2 months + everyone else between us and that cohort somehow not being affected by that uptick in form. Traffic is king |

That’s one of the best CF performances I’ve seen from a rangers player in a long time. Didn’t score, but ran the game from up front - not many players at this level can dominate a game like that. He’s so important to this team, goals or no goals. |

Better team from 0-85 minutes. Never a free kick but just about showed enough to see it out without too many scary moments. Smyth clear MOTM, with vale a very good second. Equaled points from last year with 6 to go. Finish well and the ‘progress’ objective can be checked off |

Yeah, just do the bare communications minimum, keep any important information out of it, and tell the fans to be grateful for the gruel. How’s this communication strategy working out again? |

Bar the Patron really can’t be arsed with any more exposure to the club than is required by going to games. Said from start their comms management is a huge issue. Coming on a podcast now and then to throw data around is not comms. It’s just more gaslighting. Tell me more about how you understand I’m disappointed my favourite players are injured, please |

Sick of the lot of them. We’ve been gaslit as a fan base for years about this “plan”, but we’re still 16th with 1 notable sale in a decade. A developing club that doesn’t develop players, a selling club that sells no one, and so on. |
