We're constantly told on this site that Loftus Road cannot be extended and I've always thought that was nonsense. You would have to knock it down and start again, have to relocate offices etc, have to upset some local residents, but there is no doubt we could make it bigger. The question is, is it worth it? Does an extra 5000 make enough of a difference to justify the cost? For me it does, as I do not want to move, but does it add up for the money men? |

I thought the Mexican players (and their supporters) were brilliant. What did they do wrong except try to win the game? That is a ridiculous slur on a good and decent team. |

Just read that Michael Olise was born on the White City estate. Is he the ultimate example of the one who got away? Who are the other contenders? Did his dad drink in the Smuts with my grandad? |

Has the mysterious Obikwu been seen in any of those little videos the club keep putting out? Would anybody know what he looks like? Or is he just a ghostly spirit which haunts the training ground? |

I also can't remember my first game but it was 1966 at Loftus Road with my dad who died a few months later, just before the World Cup final. I do remember walking round the ground to whichever end we were attacking, but mostly standing on the Loft in front of the tea stand in the far corner. If we ever leave this place all my memories will still reside here, this has been 'home' for more than 60 years. Thanks Dad, I loved you. I love our team. |

Also hated Dunkirk but sadly stayed to the end. Truly Madly Deeply prompted a walk out during the excrutiating hopping scene, but also my saying loudly how much I hated this middle class, sentimental twaddle. |

Unfortunately I don't think he ever played professional football, but American senator Randy Baumgardner has a corker of a moniker. [Post edited 23 Jun 12:09]

I like the name Boy Kemper a lot, good song potential, but what is the best footballers name ever? I'm going for Jan Vennegoor of Heselink. |

Really hope he recovers and is well and his passionate self. But he is possibly the rudest man I have ever encountered. |

So instead you expect them to invest many hundreds of millions in a new stadium which might, only might, raise the attendance by 3-4000 and even that only temporarily unless we get promoted. The idea of Yes playing every week or Barry McGuigan winning world titles at Royal Oak or Park Royal is just fanciful. Weddings maybe on the Car Giant site? No we need a decent side, good players, good manager. |

Tell that to Trump who still refuses to accept he lost a fair vote. The problem is once voted in by democracy tyrants can use it to their own ends unless there are sufficient checks and balances. They can for example pardon terrible people, make sure they are immune to prosecution and even refuse to stand down when the time comes. Sounds like Trump. Criticising bad elected leaders and the people who voted for them is surely the essence of a free society. |

The black and red striped AC Milan style we wore one year in the 70"s could do with a comeback. |
