Right, so that's the City to win to nil bet in. Stuck a city win in on the Sunday games all to draw bet, so that's a potential €70 return on a €1.65 bet. If it comes off, I owe you a pint Andy!

Hard call whether to play Cissé or not. Could be risky putting him into such a highly charged atmosphere. Surely he couldn't get sent off again though?!

You actually missed a crucial point. The way that Derry left the field. Face of professionalism right there. Cheating mancs could learn a thing or two from him.

Done at one end, Dunne at the other, QPR salvage a point — full match report
at 01:24:50

Bothroyd is not a target man. No doubt too early to write him off but we can't spurn 3 pointers like we did today and against Newcastle.
Set pieces and corners are nothing short of shocking. As a minnow team, we need to improve or god help us.
Ref was a joke but at the end of the season no one is going to remember the penno's that should have been. We MUST be more clinical.
If we play like we did in the first half against any of the lower teams I reckon we'll tear them apart.

I hope that's not an homage to Bear GRYLLS!

Nice article Chris. I wonder though what possible way there is to survive in this league without prolific spending. Hopefully in a few seasons we can look back at it as having been a shrewd investment in a successful future!

QPR and Plymouth, two clubs left lamenting their owners — full tour preview
at 00:34:51

And so the depression mounts with each passing day...

However. Your points regarding the sensible development of the club in terms of wages and transfer fees are (boringly!) correct. We do have to accept that we have neither the fanbase or the marketing appeal to sustain a shortsighted splurge on overrated, overpaid Premiership dregs.

I just wish that wily Warnock had been trusted with 5mil or so to give it a decent go and that we were assured that Flabio had all his dirty little fingers out of this pie. I wonder, like you, where is all this magical tv money going to go?
