Dunne’d in the gob – Report
at 22:05:31

So right about the “ series of moments” and how the Gods have conspired against us for so long ( or at least it feels that way with handballs missed and late goals conceded and just general fxxk-ups)and it could be, it must be that that wondrous goal reflects a cosmic shift and all will now be ok. Please.

Everything but the goal - Report
at 17:34:04

I groaned when Adomah came on …but it turned out to be an ok substitution. And it’s the best Willocks been post Beale. With JCS, Colback and the new guy, there’s real possibilities. A couple of wins at home - maybe the odd bit of luck ( we are due it specially after the handball goal from Swansea) and …who knows?

Dozzell's spectacular arrival drives QPR's latest Riverside wonder - Report

Great that Dozzell is off the mark. Always rated him - reminds me of Mickey Fillery. This league is wide open.

QPR endure a long night at hands of Eustace’s impressive Birmingham — Report
at 22:18:18

An accurate account ( spoiler alert: I wasn’t at the game, watched it on Sky). They were very good: skilful, aggressive, purposeful. The refereeing was dismal. And yet…every game turns on a few critical moments and it could have been very different if Roberts hadn’t hit the crossbar and gone in,if Dykes had scored from the penalty, if Hannibal ( crazy name, crazy guy) had been rightly sent off. Typically you’d expect at least one of those to go your way. I guess these things even out over a season. We were better in the second half with Amos on. Sanderson had a good game for them - I wish he hadn’t been quite so erratic for us last season - I’d like to have kept him.

Wigan the latest to suffer on QPR's Field of dreams - Report
at 20:38:38

Players do have off days. Dozzell & Amos this time. Shouldn’t generalise from this one performance. Probably the worst I’ve seen either of them play. I still think Dozzell could be the Mickey Fillery of this generation. Maybe Amos is not fully fit. Anyway it’s good to win a game we didnt deserve to win.

Willock and Johansen find QPR’s happy place — Report
at 21:04:52

The boy Field, done well. Better than a 6. MB is getting more out of these guys, most of the time anyway. Is this the same Paal as was in the Blackpool game? Completely transformed. Haven’t given up on Bonne either. Chairs playing out of his skin. It’s the hope that does for you.

How do you like them? Report

Great report. Except you didn’t really mention Andre Dozzell who I suspect will never be a crowd favourite ( Busby, Fillery…) but is doing the stuff.
Err…” traditionally working class part of the city”: have you seen house prices in Shepherds Bush ( or indeed Acton - I guess Harlesden still just about meets that description.

Illy and Willy take strictly business on the road — Report
at 13:06:40

Brilliant report. Half a bottle of Blue Nun indeed…
The most promising thing about this was the decent performance of both fullbacks after both Laird and Paal ( especially) being underwhelming in the last 2 home games. Stef too..Christ I was beginning to despair….
Complete mood change after this result. Typical of this team and this league.

A horribly familiar sinking feeling — report
at 14:36:52

I hope Fernandes & co have learned lessons from 11-12 and 12-13 and will not wait until we are bottom after, say, 10 games with hardly any points on the board before making a change. Looking at the situation rationally, even if we have a reasonable season ( = avoiding relegation?) there's a very high likelihood that Redknapp will be off to a golf course on the south coast. I was surprised that he chose to stay after May - maybe infected by the spirit of our miraculous Wembley victory.

We cannot afford - again- to get into a situation where we are firefighting for most of the season. Given there is managerial talent currently available- Pulis, Zola.. and others, this is the time to be business like, unsentimental and make decisions for the future. I suspect that if our performance on Saturday against Sunderland is even half as bad as it was against Spurs, we will see a change next week.

A horribly familiar sinking feeling — report
at 07:42:27

Great article. Appalling, abysmal, abject display by the Rs. It was worse than the early away performances in the 12-13 season under Hughes. The lack of energy, commitment and belief in the team, allied to poor selection and tactical ineptitude, is worrying....frightening even.
Redknapp looks and sounds tired. It looks like Ferdinand could well become a liability forcing us to play 3 at the back to protect his legs. Hodfle has an abysmal record in management and doesn't inspire confidence.
It's time for a change.I understand that Pulis is available( do we get Gerry F too!)
