100%. Just rewatched it: 61 minutes, replay shows the ball hits Rodri's arm and then his hand - not pure chance. Belgium players protest. No VAR review. And apart from Murphy mentioning it watching the replay it's never mentioned again. Weird?

I'd be tempted to play Rice at RB, he looked bloody good there when switched last night. I'd like to see Morgan Rogers feature, I think we need his energy and pace, maybe play him on the right of Bellingham.

And yes, maybe Stones for Konsa as well. As others have said, would also like to see Mainoo feature.

3 albums without a bad track on them

Also carefully avoiding albums already mentioned (I think!), and sticking to the OP's 3 albums format...

This is the Sea: The Waterboys
The Hounds of Love: Kate Bush
Remain in Light: Talking Heads

Another one I prefer to the original, this time a Radiohead song - think this is brilliant:

For me this is a whole album as opposed to one song: this may be heresy, but I actually prefer Dub Side of the Moon to the original!

Is it a mistake, a massive loss? I think there's a fair bit of emotional overreaction to this. We've probably got the best fee we're ever likely to get for him, he doesn't seem to be part of the manager's plans and apparently he wanted to leave...

So for me it's good luck Sam, thanks a million for what you gave us and we move on.

Thomas Tuchel's rock'n'roll football... been waiting years for an England team to play like this. Fckin love it!

If France's second half performance was 'bang average' then I'll take a few bang average performances from England!

Yes, if I have to repeat it again: I'm clearly not talking about that, I'm talking about indoctrination.

Teaching 9 years olds about critical race theory or gender ideology from the perspective that this is the lens through which they should see the world.

I don't think it's an isolated example - in fact I know it's not - because I know people with kids at many other schools all over country (mainly metropolitan areas) and they have reported the same things. I don't think it's unreasonable to extrapolate from that.

I think maybe you're being deliberately bloody minded, because that's obviously not what I'm talking about. I am talking about deliberate political indoctrination which bears no relation to the teaching of history or geography or anything else.

Yes it does, because it should be NONE.

Edit: ok, thanks Bazza, good to know.

What political solution am I suggesting?

What version of libertarianism are you referring to? It's not a fixed ideology.

Well I can give you an example: Some time ago we were running a young person's literature prize at a book festival I'm involved with. We had entries (on a theme) from 5 local schools. 4 of the schools' entries were wonderfully random, anarchic, creative and different in the ways they covered the theme. But from one school (which I knew well as friends had kids there) and I knew was already heavily politicised (and making unwarranted major decisions about kids lives without the right to do so, for example allowing a child to say they were of a different gender or had a different name without consulting the parents first)... all of their entries were almost identical. Every child had turned the theme into a political issue; in this case they all referenced either gender or racism or both in their poems. These were 9 year olds. And I know that this is far from an isolated case. That's what I am referencing.
