The abuse of the Academy system is absolutely sickening. Am I right in thinking that the Non-Premiership clubs were forced into agreeing to it under the threat of having their share of the TV money taken away? |

Agree wholeheartedly with this. Thought the first series was one of the best ever police dramas on British TV and last night’s opener makes it look like they haven’t dropped the standard at all in series two. |

I know some people say if we don’t do this or that “we deserve to go down” but I really don’t give a flying one whether we deserve to go down or not. The only thing that matters is somehow staying in the division no matter how crap we are because the consequences of relegation are going to be disastrous and long lasting. |

It looked very much to me as if it was the scrote Bannan who made the decision to switch ends as I’m pretty sure he was their captain and he was signalling to their players to change ends after the toss.
I’ve never had any particularly strong feelings about Wednesday but after the way they deliberately took the p-ss by their prolonged celebrations in the corner of the Loft and Ellerslie yesterday, they’ve become the team I’d most like to see go down. |

Yeah, I watched it and thought it was one of the best of Channel 5’s offerings in their 9 o’clock drama slot with Jason Watkins doing a very good turn as the harassed everyman in an impossible situation and Jonas Armstrong suitably threatening as the heavy.
The fact that it was all filmed in Hungary while purporting to be Northern England did give it a slightly surreal feeling though! |

Thought it was most definitely “a game of two halves”. We were definitely the better side in the first half and looked far more likely to score.
Then, after half-time, Boro seemed to up their level of intensity dramatically and had us pinned back from the start. The substitutions made little difference and Seny had virtually nothing to do in the Boro goal.
So maybe the burnout factor from Wednesday might be a reason and hopefully after a week’s rest they’ll be ready to go again. |

Need to get in to LR on Central Line from West Ruislip but looks bad at the moment. Severe delays and when you go on the plan alternative routes bit it advises walking to White City from East Acton.
Anyone got any up to date information on what it’s like at the moment? |

Perhaps immediate induction into the Forever R’s would be an appropriate gesture by the club to reassure Darnell that the utter kn-b giving him abuse was totally unrepresentative of the way the vast majority of fans feel.
That is the first time I’ve ever seen an opposition player who has left and come back to play against us do what he did. |
