As it turned out I got to the ground with just enough time for a quick pint and an artery-hardening burger.
The afters at the C&S were great though. Much better than the game :-) |

After holidays and various trips I FINALLY get to go and enjoy my new spot in the safe standing - now in a row of 5 with mates.
Hoping that Rangers shade this one and win by a goal.
Then after the game is all the shag and hassle of the policing and crowd control bollx getting in between me and a couple of pints. Hate it when that lot show up. It's a pain what with them and the stupid KO time. |

I don't have a Sky sub and never will.
The KO time tomorrow is doing my head in. It disrupts family life, ruins the pre-match routine and will flatten the atmosphere. |

I've no idea what she was thinking.
But if Starbucks have 2 tills and they have 2 servers and they therefore want you to organise yourselves in 2 queues then why not just follow the system?
If I'd done what I presume she wanted me to do and stand behind her, I'd have been 4th in line for one till whilst anyone could have just walked straight up to the other one.
It's not rocket science; if there are 4 people they'd clearly rather you organise yourself in 2 queues with 2 people in each queue. |

Yeah this is the bizarre behaviour I saw from that woman in front of me at Starbucks.
She was clearly conflicted between standing in the empty queue (where I guess she thought she might ignored or something) and the other one where the other people were DEFINITELY going to get served. She was swithering between the two options when I walked up and suggested she might commit to one or the other. She went to the the queue where people were "definitely" going to get served.
Until I joined the empty queue and she got pissed off.

I experienced this in Starbucks yesterday. There are always 2 queues. A woman arrived in front on me and couldn't decide whether to stand in the empty one or stand behind two blokes in the other one. She dedided to ignore the empty queue and stand behind the tw blokes.
I thought was daft and politely asked if she'd like to go to the head of the empty one queue and she emphatically said "no".
So I went and stood there. Just as the server for my queue waved me forward, she'd got to the head of the other queue but decided to angrily barge in front of me instead. What a numpty.
It beats me sometimes how mankind actually managed to evolve in the first place. |
